Unfortunately that law is null and void. What part of "shall not be infringed" confused these people?

what homeschooling does is allow parents to teach actual history instead of the BS they make up in public schools.

What homeschooling does is allow zagnut parents and a helluva lot of abusers program their kids to do as they see fit.

Save up some money, and send them to a real school.

Anyone homeschooling should be monitored with cameras and checked on by social workers working for the police weekly.

No, that's what public schooling has become. It can be done by homeschoolers but nearly every homeschooler I know homeschools because they themselves or someone they know had an experience with public schools doing exactly that.

Oh, so parents aren't allowed to teach their children? Next thing that would happen after that is a religion ban. Monitoring family life was how China became the hellhole it was during Mao's reign of terror. That's a step toward tyranny. "Teach your kids what I want them to be taught, and only what I want them to be taught." You really have a lot of faith in the government to not abuse power. You really aren't aware of history, and it's probably because you were schooled by revisionists. I mean, American education descends from John Dewey, a known communist, so ofc communism isn't criticized in school anywhere near the way it should be.

That's what the Bible commands as well. Deuteronomy says that if you hear somebody, even your own family member, trying to get you to worship other gods, you should report them to the government and have them put to death. Yikes, so much for freedom of religion.

How many times do I have to explain this was the old testament law and has nothing to do with what Christianity requires? The OT standard for adultery was death, yet Jesus said "Cast a stone, any of you without sin." Why do we judge others when we're messed up ourselves?

blah blah blah something communist something...

That's a whole lotta scripted faux assumptions excusing sicko parents abusing their own children in isolation.

Oh, and if you thought EVERY homeschooling parent could to be constantly monitored, well big r/whoosh there.

PRO TIP: If it sounds exaggerated or impractical, it probably is...

This begins to bore me a lot?

And there's the typical left wing response to an intelligent warning.

Aren't you the one who advocated that??? Now you're saying it isn't realistic? I was responding to your idea.

Goodness gracious.

"what homeschooling does is allow parents to teach actual history instead of the BS they make up in public schools"

Haha. Good one

What homeschooling does is allow parents to teach kids whatever they want, no training needed, no background in education needed, and certainly no objectivity needed. In fact that's the reason a lot of conservative parents homeschool their kids, so they can fill their heads with all sorts of garbage and not have anybody to explain why it's wrong.

If you homeschool your kids, you can tell them that Adam and Eve were created from a pile of dirt and a rib, and rode dinosaurs around a magical garden all day long. None of that is historically or scientifically true, but how are the kids going to know that?

400,000,000 guns and counting are proof enough that you lack understanding of what the 2nd obviously means.

Back when that was written those words had different meanings. Today it would read "all able bodied well trained people for defense, being necessary to the security of the free state, the right to bear arms shall not be infringed. "
