The average high for every day in July in my part of Texas is supposed to be in the mid 90s. Almost every day has been over 100 with most getting into 110 on the heat index at some point. It's. F**king. Ridiculous.

That's why it's called climate change. It actually creates extremes in both directions.

It's called Climate Change because Global Warming ended after peaking in 1999. They thought we were upon the beginning of the runaway Venus Effect, but come 2000 we started having the coldest winters since the 1970s, when the next ice age was set to begin in 20 years (yes, the 1990s was supposed to be a new ice age and civilization would get piled under by a mile thick of ice).
So a new term was needed which would apply even if we became colder that the Oort Cloud.

What's really funny is when they claim that a snowstorm in January proves that there's no global warming

finally...I hate winter. I absolutely believe in climate change. it gets cold in the winter and warm in the summer. what more do you want folks.

I wonder how that matches to a mere decade ago with the coldest winters since the Ice Age Cometh 1970s,,, So cold, in fact, "Global Warming" became passe in 2000 and "Climate Change" substituted it because nothing can disprove that as the term even applies to the surface of the Sun itself.
