But how will the affect be disproportionate? In the LGBTQ+ community, accidental pregnancies will be lower, by virtue of fewer of the couples in that community engaging in sex that can biologically result in pregnancy.
The only reason abortion bans would disproportionately affect is that people of color disproportionately experience poverty (with poverty being the actual factor at play).
And how does that compare to the U.S. as a whole?
Also what percentage of the LGBTQ are in relationships that will result in unwanted pregnancy? Lesbians and gays, certainly not. Bisexuals, sure. Trans should be at a lower rate since it's less likely that the bio genders will be a match for reproduction. This MUCH lower fertility rate in the LGBTQ community should more than counteract the slightly higher rates of poverty in terms the how proportionately they are affected.
Not to mention the LGBTQ community usually has better safe sex education and resources in the form of LGBTQ community centers.
Less than 1000, across the whole country is disproportionate, disproportionately low. Meanwhile, sperm donors? Who gets intentionally pregnant and then has an abortion (with the exception of medical issues).
It's hilarious that he actually thinks abortions will stop in red states. It's a known fact that many conservative Christian women get abortions. That's not going to stop.
Here's the thing. After a 4 month's break I thought Roe v Wade would be a good opportunity to drop by on imglip. I was browsing both politics streams and left some comments, including on several of yours. Virtually all of them got deleted.
The comment above I left on a meme of yours that was no longer hot or new and had no comments at all. So I wonder who else would have noticed; especially after I haven't been around for months.
I downvoted your Tim pool comment above, but I didn't flag it, and I don't recall flagging any other comments you posted. I haven't been flagging very many comments here lately to be honest, moreso just downvoting.
I don't check my notifications very often so I most likely haven't seen the comments you posted on my older stuff. But I know for sure I didn't flag the above comment because like I said I didn't even see it until you posted it just now. And I would have no reason to flag that comment anyway.
along the lines that the ruling was strenghtening Federalism, not Theocracy.
Which also got deleted - I wasn't even notified about it.
Did you even see it?
I recall seeing one or two comments of yours, not sure if I saw that specific one. My guess would be a mod deleted them, or someone else flagged them, because I'm pretty sure I didn't.
