It’s weird to want the president to be cognitively able? Really? I think it’s weird to not demand a yearly test and make it a requirement for the job. Biden is almost 80. Natural aging alone puts him at a higher risk. Plus he’s already had two life-threatening brain aneurisms requiring brain surgery. The only reason Liberals don’t demand a test from him is because they know he’ll fail, miserably.

No. That is not even a little bit true. Most people never take that test at all unless their doctor has a reason why they should.

That’s funny because I’ve been taking my mother for that test as part of her yearly physical for almost 5 years, and she’s 76. They give her three words to remember at the beginning of the test, and ask her to recite those words at the end of the test.

Perhaos she exhibited signs five years ago? My mother is 77, and she does not perform such tests. So, about that....

Yeah, I'm with ParadiseLost - I think this is something your doctor did as a special check recommended for your mother in particular. No idea why, none of my business - but sorry to break it to you, it's not normally administered by default.

Cognitive screening is recommended by doctors and science (listen to the science) at age 65.
