I don't get why people try to dismiss home schooling, I have family members who had 2 year degrees before they even turned 18. Almost every statistic I've seen shows home school students outperforming public school students in academia.

It may work for some, not all. Not every household in America is PREPARED to teach their YOUNG'NS.
