I can agree with that. It could be said that it started decades before when, in 1913, Woodrow Wilson forced the IRS and income tax on us followed by the Federal Reserve.
Well that was a slide to the government overreach and the FED setting monetary policy is ruining us

In 1976 I got my Kiss Army Membership Card. You’re old as f**k. I bet you get up more than 13 times a night to pee. Me? Only 11. Suck it grandpa.

LOL. Only if I drink a lot of water or soda before I go to bed do I have to get up and pee. Everything's still pretty much the way it has always been for me.
I thought Kiss were posers back then. The glitter rock era had just ended and all of the sudden here's Kiss in all of their make up showing up too late to the party. I'm still surprised that they were able to make a comeback after the 70's and are still touring.
If I still had it I could show you my Hot Wheels membership card from the late 60's when Hot Wheels first came out. Before that (and I think I still have it somewhere) I have my Man from Uncle membership card. Long before Henry Cavil and Armie Hammer made the movie there was a 60's TV series that the movie was based on and I used to watch it when I was a kid.

Me and my son. A new member of the Kiss Army, from another generation, being inducted. This was at the Forum in LA.
