Republicans are constructing laws that criminalize women for failing to carry to term; regardless of whether they actually aborted their children.

Democrats AND REPUBLICANS made health recommendations and restrictions on corporations and big businesses to require vaccines for their employees.

These two things are not equivocal.

Abortion: A woman should decide whether or not to have one, and pay for it.

Vaccination: A man or woman decides whether or not to have one, and pay for it.

The reality is that very soon Roe V Wade will be overturned and in most states, abortion will be completely illegal.

So, again how is that equivalent?

Answer, it isn't.

Because the federal government did not force anyone to have an abortion, nor were they forced to vaccinate. Sure, tough decisions had to be made by both groups of people; but states didn't ban vaccines.

That's the equivalency. If you state banned vaccines; taking the choice away from you; or went door to door with jabs and took your choice away;

THEN it'd be equivalent.

So, again, it is not.

Equivalent: When "My body my choice" is equally valid for all people. The fact that this ideal situation hasn't been implemented doesn't make it non-equivalent.

No, they just lost thier lively-hoods. I have a co-worker who is allergic to most vaccines, but she couldn't "prove" she was allergic to this one for the medical exemption. She ended up in the ER because she had to take it or lose her job, that she's been at over 20 years. She could easily have died.
I remember liberals claiming that employers were interfering with medical choices because they didn't want to pay. They just didn't want the health coverage they paid for to cover abortions or "free" birth control. But nothing prevented individuals from doing this on their own.

I worked throughout this mess, no mask, no jap, got covid, recovered and was fired for not being vaccinated. I used all the overtime money to start my own business. The company that fired us, lost the contract. Karma works.
