The fact that Donald Trump, also a billionaire, was unable to use either his wealth or the inherent powers of the presidency to overturn a fair election does not bode well for your theory that Elon Musk could do so either.

Well, Elon Musk is no doubt sharper and more focused than Trump, so maybe. But anywho, it’s amusing to see Trumplicans swoon over yet another billionaire as if he has their best interests at heart.

It’s hard to wrap your head over just how much a billion dollars is. It’s mind-boggling. Over $100 billion? Insane.

The harder truth is that unless you are worth several hundred million dollars at least, we are all like gnats to them. Donald Trump ran for the Presidency to stroke his own ego, nothing more. He doesn’t even believe in the things he says. The wall? Doesn’t care. Abortion? No way.

Elon Musk made the Twitter offer because he likes to make headlines and wants a shiny new plaything.

Here you go. Musk is now worth even more than Bezos, so yeah, good luck getting him to care about your pet concerns and butthurt.

It would be interesting to see someone that wealthy make a go at trying to be President. Musk was born in South Africa, so he’s constitutionally ineligible, but Bezos? How many shenanigans could he pull with a $10 billion (say) self-funded campaign and virtually no limits on how to spend it?

It would be a nightmare for our democracy — but okay, yes, please carry on

nightmare? but it's better to just have him BUY someone else into the WH? I'd rather have the rich guy in front of the curtains instead of backstage pulling the strings.
