Your meme pretty accurately explains why I never registered as, nor consider myself a republican, even though I probably agree with what they say they believe in (which of course is different than what they do would indicate they believe in) marginally more than I do with democrats. Bottom line is when push comes to shove, republicans aren't all that different than democrats.

I go back and forth between R and independent, but the last time I voted for a democrat was about six years ago, and I can say with complete certainty that I won’t ever vote for a D again. I think this country is ready for a Patriot party or whatever you want to call it. Done with rinos too.

I think it's aimed more towards the Republicans of the last couple of Decades more than what we are seeing emerge currently.
Some of the current Republicans are still kinda awful and get labelled RINOs for it.

In other words, they say they are Republicans but they act like leftists (i.e. taking lobby money from whoever will give it and doing anything they tell them to).

Not everyone, but there are a lot of them. Some will only take lobby money from people that support their sides issues, and while that's still a little fishy, its not the same as taking money from the other side and voting their way.

RINO is a way of describing a Republican who votes for, endorses and pushes left wing policy.

The Dems have the same thing with their politicians pushing right wing policy/agenda.

It's not a behaviour exclusive to Republicans, but it is extremely frustrating to see your representatives do the opposite of what you want/what they said they were going to do.
