Specifically, Paul Krugman started that ball rolling. He is one of the winners of the Nobel Prize - in economics, no less - that convinces me the Nobel is nothing more than a high-school popularity contest writ large.

I have no idea how someone can be wrong so often and win a Nobel. Were this to be baseball, Krugman would be a sub .100 hitter. If he ever does connect with the ball, it's purely by accident.
