Here is a woman who was so caring towards other people's health that she assaulted and spat at an 80 year old man on a plane just because he took his mask off to eat: https://twitter.com/ATLUncensored/status/1474552407707242498?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1474552407707242498%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tmz.com%2F2021%2F12%2F26%2Fdelta-passenger-loses-it-on-unmasked-man-detained-by-fbi%2F

I've came across people in other online communities that were ecstatic some bill passed that would force people to be vaccinated or not be seen in a hospital at all. "So yeah, f*** em," they said. Disgusting!

You don't seem to care that taking away everyone's freedom, rights and livelihood badly destroys everyone's lives, you are the one who doesn't care that everyone's lives are destroyed by your petty need to control others. Seriously, you don't deserve a pat on the back for that. Why can't you just let people be happy to live their own lives and fulfill their own well-being.

My problem is that some of my family members DIED. Because of people like you. They were careful.

Your childish blame games are not any sort of argument. My uncle died because people like you wanted to keep everyone in lockdown and not have their lives back, the government forbade him from seeing his family so he drank himself to death and died of kidney and liver failure and diabetes, I heard this devastating news the day before my birthday. I believe in letting people be free because I care about others and letting everyone be happy, you don't care about other people's well-being, the reason why you believe in having government control everyone's lives is because you want a petty excuse to be hateful and lash out at others. Even if the WHO declared over, you would still sit at home at your computer lashing out at others for being out having fun with their friends and family. You just can't stand it when people are free and happy.

No, I want to get out as much as anyone. I can't stand it when people don't think of others and claim: "BUT YOU DON'T CARE." I do. 10 of my family members died, and last I checked, that's more than 1. Sorry for your loss, but at the same time, please understand where I'm coming from the same way I understand where you are. Yes, I want to get out. Yes, I understand your tragedy. But please, just respect others.

I am sorry for your loss but lashing out at others is not the answer. I've realized that these covid restrictions do not actually lower the amount of cases and only give people an excuse to lash out at each other and enable division. You don't seem to understand that taking away other people's freedom and livelihood doesn't benefit anyone, it only causes everyone else to suffer needlessly. Hating on others for living their lives and calling them "stupid Republicans who don't care about others" doesn't benefit anyone, it is just a bitter, resentful mindset. People get sick and it is something that no one can really help. My uncle wasn't the only who was killed by the lockdowns, under the lockdowns people have been suffering and dying from mental health issues, domestic abuse, alcohol poisoning, drug overdose and even youth suicides, all those things skyrocketed under the lockdowns.

The Canadian province of Ontario is over 75% vaccinated but they are still having a high surge of covid cases and the overwheling majority of the cases are in the the vaccinated a lot more than the unvaccinated.

According to this recent daily report: https://www.google.com/amp/s/globalnews.ca/news/8526027/ontario-covid-cases-hospitalizations-january-20-coronavirus/amp/

The province reported 7,757 new covid cases. 1,079 were unvaccinated people, 260 were partially vaccinated people, 5,819 were fully vaccinated people and 599 people who's vaccination status was unknown.

And how many of those new cases have resulted in deaths and hospitalizations? I can guarantee it’s astronomically less prevalent in vaccinated populations than it is in unvaccinated ones.

Even hospitalizations among the vaccinated are much higher than the unvaccinated.

That particular article doesn't specify the hospitalizations of covid but here is another report that does: https://www.google.com/amp/s/globalnews.ca/news/8513708/ontario-covid-cases-hospitalizations-january-15-coronavirus/amp/

On January 15, 3,957 covid hospitalizations were reported, 739 were unvaccinated, 195 were partially vaccinated and 2050 were fully vaccinated and in ICUs, 195 were unvaccinated while 17 were partially vaccinated and 196 were fully vaccinated.

The "47% who were admitted for other reasons" are doing a lot of legwork here.

So you admit that there is a difference between being hospitalized for covid and being hospitalized with covid, 'with covid' meaning being hospitalized for something else such as cancer or heart disease and just happening to be tested positive for covid even though covid isn't the reason for their hospitalization.

"For those in ICUs, 195 were unvaccinated while 17 were partially vaccinated and 196 were fully vaccinated."

Learn statistics, 10% of the people account for nearly 50% of the ICU cases. I wonder why.

Ever heard of statistics? 90% of us are vaccinated, and yet look at that, more than 10% of cases are the unvaccinated. Interesting, it seems they (GASP) work!
1 up, 2y,
1 reply
I do look at statistics, just because more than 10% of cases are in the unvaccinated doesn't mean the other 80-90% of cases aren't in the vaccinated. I think you are trying to suggest that covid cases are primarily in the unvaccinated, if that is the case, you are pushing an outright lie because that statistics show that the majority of covid cases are still in the fully vaccinated, which just goes to show you that people still get covid whether they are vaccinated or not, CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky admitted this on an interview on CNN. She said that the vaccines don't prevent the transmission of covid, they just reduce the severity of covid.

You accuse vaccine skeptics of "spreading misinformation" but you yourself aren't properly informed about the vaccines and you don't like to listen to evidence and facts that prove that the vaccines aren't as effective as you think they are and people still get covid whether they are vaccinated or not.
0 ups, 2y,

No, my point is, that if more than 10% of cases are in the unvaccinated, and yet 10% of people are vaccinated, then in fact vaccines work to some degree. "She said that the vaccines don't prevent the transmission of covid, they just reduce the severity of covid." Yes, indeed. Most of the time, that is the case. That's what I primarily look at, and I responded to you with that. Yet, you pointed it out as proof the vaccines don't work. So know your metric, and STOP flip-flopping.
1 up, 2y
I do not deny that the vaccines work in reducing the severity of covid and prevent people from dying of it, I am merely saying the vaccines don't stop the transmission of covid as Dr. Walensky stated clearly. Many people think that the vaccines stop the transmission of covid but they are mistaken, I believe people should know that public health means that the vaccines reduce the severity and not the transmission. I am not flip-flopping, I didn't trying to suggest that means the vaccines 'don't work' I used that as proof that the vaccines DON'T PREVENT TRANSMISSION and people still get covid whether they are vaccinated or not.

You said "10% of covid cases are in the unvaccinated" I'm not sure what point you are trying to make with that, yes 10% of cases are in the unvaccinated but that doesn't change the fact that the other 90% are in the vaccinated too.
