How many Americans suffer Polio every year? It was mandated that those who attend public school must get Tuberculosis, Diptheria and Polio Vaccines as well as others. How often do you hear of Americans suffering those diseases?

I'll wait for your ridiculously small statistic.

I really had to double check this, and everywhere I check it's the same. Let's compare notes to the question asked "Why is Polio still around today?"

Polio is most prevalent in Egypt, Pakistan and Nigeria.
Factors include:
Misinformation by Militants saying the vaccine is anti-Islam - saying it has pig fat in it... (Translation: In first world countries, they use the computer chip excuse.)
Political Unrest
Negligent Government (Kinda falls under Misinformation by Militants)
Poor Health Infrastructure.

So, basically America at the start of the pandemic in March, 2020.

Do you have an article you'd like to post if it suggests something different?

You got me. Yep. There's a virus using a keyboard to talk to a human.

Because you're presenting your argument as a prescriptivist would and asserting that your definition is what I actually meant. When instead, I was taking the descriptivist approach. If you want to change what I said by arguing semantics. Go ahead, it doesn't make you right.

The polio pandemic was defeated by sanitation measures before they had an effective vaccine. Look it up. There are DNA viruses that rarely mutate such as measles and then there are RNA viruses that mutate like crazy like covid. The measles vaccine was about 40% effective with 3 boosters over 20 years. The covid shot is only effective for about 3-6 months if at all. The bad part of covid is the spike, the mRNA shot instructs your cells to produce the deadly part of the virus. Do the math.

Sanitation before vaccine in re: polio. So, around the infected, they masked and socially distanced? And once the vaccine came around everyone took it? You don't say.

"The spike protein is the bad part."
Kinda like saying the gun is the evil part of the shooter. Just false.

No, people started washing their hands and boiling the water they consumed. They started separating the sewage runoff from the water intake. You know, basic sanitation.

According to Pfizers own CEO, the first two shots are almost useless, if not totally ineffective. Of course, the ever important #3 fixes that.

Wasn't Pfizer the company that paid out the highest judgment in history for malfeasance?

Yep.

Just gonna leave this here and you can sit and rot in your destroyed argument - sure Polio "exists" but by every metric of statistics, it's practically gone. Gonna reprise a statement I said in a comment below... "I'll wait for your ridiculously small statistic."

Well, I provided it for you. Thanks for playing. Better luck next time.

Something about people leary about getting the Polio Vaccine in Pakistan (that's the bigger country highlighted in dark blue on the map there) on account of paranoia that it's actually some nefarious DNA gathering op run by the CIA (like the one they did use in the effort to find bin Laden) and the Taliban in Afghanistan (that's the somewhat smaller country highlighted in dark blue next to Pakistan on the map there) previously attacking and even killing those administering it claiming it was a Western conspiracy to sterilize Muslims made those two countries the only ones on Planet Earth left with the problem?
(Sounds familiar, doesn't it?)

btw, the Taliban has more recently changed this view and is now supporting efforts to immunize.

... and once again you avoid answering a question so profoundly simple only you cannot answer it.

You really should delete your account if you want to be this childish.

That's a cute notion, and we could play that hypothetical game if not for actual history already in place.

Using your logic, shouldn't all the "anti-vaxxers" already be dead by now? Hey! Maybe they are, and this truly IS a pandemic of the vaxxed . . .
