This part of history is well known. African tribes would often go to war with each other, and the losers were sold into slavery at the ocean ports. Slavers didn't invade the interior of the continent looking for slaves, the slaves were delivered to them at the ports by the native Africans."

1. Africans were captured by enemies in Africa and European invaders. The cost of developing infrastructure, protection, and catching diseases en route caused many Europeans to end up opting for sticking closer to shore and relying on middlemen, but having established such earlier on, the Portugese tended to do it themselves, from capture to transport."
Also........... the reason why you see Islamic heavy populations at not just seaports but inland trade routes is because Arab traders used to clonk a couple here and there upside the head when loading up goods late at night and no one was looking. Word got around that they would not kidnap Moslems, so people converted to be protected against abduction and selling off into slavery... You see this in Central to East Asia, and in Africa in places like around inland Mali.

Did slavery also happen elsewhere? Of course, but we're talking about the African slave trade, which is why the words Africa and African are so often used in this discourse. We're talking about African slaves.....do you get it yet? African slaves - say it with me A-F-R-I-C-A-N S-L-A-V-E-S

The slave trade started in Africa, when one tribe would defeat another in battle - then sell the captives as slaves. This is the history they don't want to teach because it would undermine the narrative that all of the bad things in the world are the fault of the white man."
Perhaps you should keep track of what you had said.
