European culture genuinely is so diverse, I wish representing every culture equally was easier because they’re ALL beautiful

Yep . . . the WOKE leftist fanatics are judging traditional western culture and history by THEIR modern day standards and would be the first to SHRIEK "unfair!" if they were to discover that a couple of hundred years in the future THEY were considered barbaric, backwards, and -- yes -- racist by a new crop of WOKE emoters . . . er . . . 'thinkers'.

Jade Tunchy | There's a word for traditional western culture and history The word is "Basque" | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Nearly all that "traditional western culture and history" - down to the languages non-Basque Europeans speak - was imported.

Wow, you're really full of shit. "Western culture and history" aren't limited to one group at one time, anymore than any other group.

If I don't, I'm no worse than you. You're just another cancel culture asshole attacking somebody becuase you can't stand the idea that White people might not be the villains you want them to be. There were many European cultures throughout history, from the Bretons, the Anglos, & the Norsemen, to the Celts who ranged as far as Anatolia and possibly India. But no, squawk on about the Basque culture.

Look, I understand that you have to wing bs to make a point you're not only not making, but is adding tp that which you decry. All except the Basque language is what's left after they were domesticated by the Aryans from Central Asia. A certain circle tried to co-op that into some sort of mythology which they could wrap themsleves in, but that only served to show how devoid of a notable history they had. That's ok, not everybody was that fab back then, and the 20th Century wasn't something to sneeze at either, so all is cool.

Celts in India? That's a new one. There was a scattering wending their way along the Silk Road though.

Regardless, Celtic languages - once the most widespread in Europe - have been reduced to small pockets with some mild attempts at revival such as with separatist Scots, Welsh realizing the only reminders of their nearly forgotten roots are some place names, and imprisoned IRA terrorists in occupied Northern Ireland.
Still an Indo-European language, not a genuine original indigenous one - unlike Basque.

There is more to culture than language, and language was not mentioned in the OP.

KAZING! Ya got it!

A side point is that language IS pretty much all that's left of that culture, save for some savory stews and delightful traditional wedding costumes and folklore great granny can recall.

I'm so sick of hearing that most of the protesters were peaceful and singing kumbaya and there was just a handful of bad apples looting and burning down all the populated big cities. While a couple hundred idiots somehow represents over a hundred million people

.............wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwWWWWWWWWWWHAT?

It absolutely did involve people of color. Why on Earth wouldn't it? Most of Europe's grain was imported from Africa during the classical age - people of color were literally feeding Europe. Without it, there is no European history.
2 ups, 2y,

Perhaps this is true, but it has nothing to do with the original comment. "Europeans" had diverse cultures, religions, mythology, histories and traditions that did not involve people of color. Why is it so blasphemous to admit that "Europeans" are people, too? Why are they not allowed to have their own culture?

Diverse? Goat Gods having their way with women in the woods?
Burning live animals, captured enemies, virgin daughters to death and disemboweling the remains to foretell the future with the way their guts fell on the ground?

The ONLY thing left of authentic European language are the Basque. That's all that remains of original European culture after the Aryan invasion which began the domestication of Europe.
Domesticated animals & plants,
Agriculture,
The wheel,
Technology (past Stone Age),
Metallurgy,
Architecture (beyond grass covered mud huts),
Money,
Writing,
Sciences,
Math,
Language,
Economy (past clubbing Ugr upside the head to steal his chunk of stork meat)
Governing,
Nations,
Religion,
etc...
all first came from the East and South of the Bosphorus - the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
More later came from the Americas 500 years ago.

Heck, the REAL Europe was the land surrounding the Mediterranean - what is now southern Europe to northern Africa. The history of the barbarians in the northern hinterlands consists of nothing till they got conquered by Rome. Back then their impact on the world was no more than drying dung leftover from a herd of deer.

So if it hasn't remained pure since the dawn of time it doesn't count as a culture or religion?

If it weren't for the Romans, most of the world would not have intermixed and your list would have taken longer to circulate. And the only "real Europe," or real Asia or real Africa, are the rocks.

You're pretty dismissive of ancient cultures. Certainly, all cultures have intermixed. That's bound to happen over the course of ten thousand years. The comment made by Chris Graham was a defense of the existence of "white people" cultures. My intention in posting the meme is *not* an attempt to advance the idea that European cultures are "better," merely that they existed and that they are not less than any other culture.

Did you bother to read your own OP meme?

"If it weren't for the Romans, most of the world would not have intermixed"
That is amazingly ridiculous.
Europeans - like all Caucasians - are a Homo Sapiens & Neanderthal mix to begin with. All the great civilizations of the ancients included a mixture of people. You ever even read the Bible? That tiny dot on the map, and look what their world was comprised of.

The only one pretending to attempt to be dismissive is you.
You know what Europe's contribution to plants for farming is? Leafy greens like lettuce and cabbage. See how big a civilization you can build on brussel sprouts. Why do you think the populations of northern Europe boomed only after the introduction of the potato?
Livestock? The rabbit, 600AD. That's it. Trying plowing fields with that. No plow means no wheels means you ain't going anywhere - which is exactly what the barbarian hordes did till the Romans domesticated them.
But hey, other than Stonehenge, Britain also has a giant p**is scratched into a chalk hill. Who needs aqueducts and temples and pyramids when you got that?
