well, I got the Moderna vaccine , it boasted the highest rates of effectiveness. I didn't have any side effects at all. I have diabetes with severe neuropathy , so basically pain in my hands and legs but I didn't have any additional issues. I would stay away from J and J , just going by their past business practices , also they have the lowest effect rates. Also all my family received the Moderna including my extended family and no one has told me about any negative reactions .

Someone we know, a carpenter, handyman, he and his wife caught it, recovered at home as it wasn't bad enough for hospitalization, he asked his doc about going to buy groceries when he was feeling better, doc said ok, but do NOT bathe before stepping out (this was early spring), so he showered, went, collapsed on the way home, slipped into a coma, and passed away. Real nice man too, just in his 50s and in good shape.

The dude you know, that's horrible, but has he gotten the vaccine? They say it may help (somewhat) with that, plus there's long term Covid some may have without knowing before it's too late, it can help in those cases too.

yea he did, he was just one of the very unlucky ones, Covid hit him like a ton of bricks. He is all for the vaccines too, he was looking forward to getting vaccinated .. but it was just too late. He is alive but I would hate to be going through what he is going through.. not being able to think .. ugh

I might have had it Feb 2020, but was never tested. Bad headache unabated (just wavered a bit in intensity) for 9 days, then a lot of food started tasting funny, even a funky aftertaste. Recovered from that somewhat (I can enjoy pizza again!), but candy corn - a staple in my diet, is something I can now barely chew. Same for SweeTARTs jelly beans, just blah. Apple pie tastes sweet but bland. Lost a few pounds because I used to gobble them things up like crack.

My sister had felt sick with her second dose, I have to ask what brand next time I see her.
