What part of this don’t you understand? I dehumanize communists (Democrats) because they aren’t human to me. They are dangerous extremists who threaten my freedom and existence. Am I going out to kill them? Absolutely NOT. I am not a killer. Only in defense of my own life would I do something like that.

I admitted that he has a point: "Well, no rational point- ever."

I once had the same viewpoint as he did, but I was intelligent enough to figure out that there were no real answers there. Atheism is the worst of lies people tell themselves, and from there it is all downhill. That's where this imgflip Troll is- on a fast ride down to nowhere.

Some viewpoints are evil, based in evil, and detrimental to the holder, and those unfortunate enough to be associated with them.
2 ups, 3y
I wasn't talking about his viewpoint of atheism. He and I disagree on that. I was talking about his point of dehumanizing people you don't agree with. That's what Hitler did. Also not something a follower of Christ should be doing. Calling people names isn't going to win anyone over to Jesus.

You might want to review my memes before slinging “you people” around.

Yes liberals dehumanize people a lot. But it isn’t just bad behavior. It leads very quickly to “we can kill X because they aren’t people. “ it is a very dangerous habit, not just bad behavior.

There are typically only two options when it comes to you:
1. You are lying, either by omission, direct lying, or obfuscation, the last of which is your frequent MO.
2. You are ignorant and have no real idea what you are talking about. This also happens a lot, but usually combined with one or more of the first three variations of lying.

Even on that rare occasion when you have some facts correct, your interpretation of them is skewed to the point of missing reality. I think the reason you say what you say here is because you are so steeped in lies- external lies from the MSM and other sources that you choose because they align with your internal compass (broke as it is), and the fact that you first and foremost lie to yourself.

Your biggest lie is that you think you have anything figured out, when it is crystal clear you do not. You have put turd colored glasses on your face, and you think the whole universe is turd colored. You cannot see clearly because you do not want to.

John 8:44-47
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires.
He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.
When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.
Which one of you convicts Me of sin?
If I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?
Whoever is of God hears the words of God.
The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”

It's not an opinion. It's a fact.

Our constitution prevents tyrants from declaring an election illegitimate just because he failed to win or because some bellwether counties didn't elect him. That's just not how our Electoral College works.

I'm sure he was aware of the election fraud claims. He was probably in the room when they were cooked up. I know it seems cowardly to you that exceptions to the constitution weren't made for Trump but the ends do not justify the means.

Yes, it does.
If only Trump was a dictator. (News flash: he wasn't). Then your claim would make sense. Numerous laws prevent fake votes and other kinds of election rigging... But we can make an exception to get rid of the evil orange man.

Yes, our constitution (when it's followed) can prevent dictators.

Isn't it a wonderful (and inconvenient to people like Trump and his supporters) thing?

There were maybe thousands of voter fraud incidents. This is well documented.

If only there were exactly 11,780 votes in Georgia. Not that that would've got him elected, of course. He still would've been short 22 electoral votes.

The only exception being asked for is the man, you claim, is an evil orange man.

Tyrants aren't evil, after all.

At least, not according to Trump.

He is quite fond of Tyrants and envies their power.

Yes, she's just a glorified rubber stamp when the next election's votes are counted as well.
0 ups, 3y
Right now she is the glorified rubber stamp that casts the decisive vote in a hung Senate. She will also be that glorified rubber stamp in a Senate that approves or rejects the votes in a presidential election.
0 ups, 3y,

The Constitution gives the VP no power to do anything but count the votes presented to her, and the Electoral Count Act confirms that's all she can do.
And the Electoral Count Act is BINDING CURRENT LAW, so...
0 ups, 3y
The Electoral Count Act is subject to another law called a "Constitution". If it is not constitutional, it is null and void.
0 ups, 3y,

And doesn't give her power over the electoral votes.
1 up, 3y
Very well. I tire of trying. You win. I will write to the U.S. Congress and the several states and tell them to rewrite the U.S. Constitution to your tastes so you can have the U.S. president you crave according to the electoral process you want.

"The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted;"
Nothing about being able to dispute them.
And go read the Electoral Count Act for the exact and ONLY procedure to reject or dispute electoral votes (hint: the VP is and can ONLY be a glorified rubber stamp when the votes are counted).
0 ups, 3y
The chairman of the Senate a "glorified rubber stamp"? I'll let Kamala Harris know...
0 ups, 3y,

She's a rubber stamp *when counting the electoral votes*
Any other time she has a tie breaker vote. But when the electoral votes are being counted, she's just there for show (and to tell out of order politicians to shut up).
0 ups, 3y
If the Senate votes on whether or not to approve the counting of the electoral votes, then the "rubber stamp", as you are pleased to call the chairman of the Senate, ACTUALLY MAY CARRY THE DECIDING VOTE!!!

Once more, please tell me which of the words you didn't understand!

Nope, only the congressmen and congresswomen take part in that vote - and it has to be a simple majority vote in both chambers in favour of throwing out an electoral vote(s) for said votes to be thrown out, no tiebreaker option. A tie means the votes in question aren't thrown out.
This is pretty basic absolute fact. Again, READ THE ELECTORAL COUNT ACT!
Schooling adult constitution-idolising Americans (typically Republicans) on what their Constitution and laws actually say. Not how my Australian ass imagined adulthood.
0 ups, 3y
I don't for a moment believe your Aussie ass ever imagined adulthood.

But in case you haven't yet understood what I said:

THE VICE PRESIDENT IS THE CHAIRMAN OF THE SENATE!

IN CASE OF A HUNG SENATE (I.E., A 50-50 VOTE) THE CHAIRMAN OF THE SENATE CASTS THE DECISIVE VOTE!

It's in the Constitution, not in the electoral act!!
0 ups, 3y
And, BTW, NOT the 12th amendment, which describes how the VP is elected, not the VP's functions!
0 ups, 3y,
1 reply
Nope, absolute fact of reality: the tie breaker vote doesn't exist when voting on whether to keep an electoral vote.

0 ups, 3y
The twelfth amendment states that the president and VP are elected together. Before that it used to be that the president was the one with the most electoral votes and the VP was the one with the second-most. What does that have to do with the VP's powers?

It's amusing that Biden is acting more like a king than Trump ever did.
0 ups, 3y
How so?

Mandates in the face of a public health crisis and virtually toothless executive orders that change only executive policies notwithstanding...

Biden does not appear to be bringing in his decedents and in-laws into the cabinet, nor is he drooling at the authority of dictators.

By this time in Trump's presidency, he was ironically trying to do away with the second amendment and a few other basic rights to individuals simply if the government deemed them a threat regardless of evidence...

So, no. I can't really agree to your assessment. Unless, of course, you have any facts to back up your opinion.
