I hear the left talk about Christians "forcing their religious beliefs" either "down their throats" or "on everyone". I think the left is told to say that. If a Christian exists then that is considered "forcing their religion" by the left.

But the real problem is not Christians. It is leftists with their own "religion". And the left does nothing but force their "religion down everyone's throats". And if you don't like it then they call you a racist for absolutely no reason at all.

The left's religion is a death cult. It started with unborn babies. Then it went to the elderly. Soon it will be what socialism is meant to be, and that is the extermination of those people the government deems as of no value.

Jesus was not coerced and volunteered His life. He had the power to lay His life down and the power to take it back up again. No other human sacrifice has been required. So you really have to stretch it to call Christianity a death cult.

The cross was the next part. He needed to lay down his life and bring it back to start the resurrection.

Gethsemane is where the atonement happen. It may have ended on the cross, I don't know.

Being arrested by Roman soldiers and sentenced to death by Pilate rings a tad bit on the coercive side, and getting nailed on the cross kinda - wait for it - puts a nail in that coffin,,,
