The red states have Republican governors. Unfortunately, I'm in Colorado but when the shit starts I'm going to Oklahoma then maybe Texas.

You would have a more target rich environment if you stayed in Colorado. Just saying.

The enemy is a strange way to view fellow Americans with different political views and opinions. It’s almost like you’ve been radicalized, or something, to hate fellow Americans; if not America itself.

You mean like Biden painted the unvaccinated on his Sept 9th Address?

"80 million Americans to quit their careers and start a business or join a small business. Flawed thinking if you try to pass that off as acceptable."

Next you'll be saying people who are unqualified should work any job. See, liberal thinking doesn't suit Republicans.

What is radical is thinking administering a vaccine during a public health crisis is a violation of constitutional rights.

You don't have a right to work for a big business if you're not vaccinated- Federal Government and their loyal supporters
0 ups, 3y
Yeah, I'm unhappy that the government has to step in when adults fail to assess the situation in a mature way too. We wouldn't need most laws if human beings did what they were suppose to do. The more radical and unhinged a society becomes, the more it becomes necessary for authority to be known. If the unvaccinated were a small enough minority, then these mandates wouldn't have happened.

Like I said, and keep saying, fight your battle in court. Maybe you'll present the right evidence to prove your case. Bitching about it at me or rationalizing that calling people "the enemy" who simply disagree with you politically is acceptable behavior; isn't going to get you anywhere, kid.

"Abby is talking about a tyrannical government."

The United States is not a tyrannical government.

"Are you the kind that will excuse Biden's rhetoric but sat Trumps rhetoric is what caused the storming of the Capitol?"

Would anyone have died on January 6th if Trump had told the truth and admitted he lost the 2020 election? Maybe they wouldn't have. Maybe they would've. Who knows? But if you're comfortable letting Trump's rhetoric slide when it lead to people dying it what is generally a peaceful transition of power; then Biden pointing out that the unvaccinated right now are our primary concern for getting America back on track is definitely small fries.

No one is coming into your home and forcing you to get vaccinated. If your place of business is requiring vaccinations, and you don't want it, then quit. Because you're able to do that, proves we're not a tyrannical government.

You can think that's not fair but really it might be beneficial to either side's argument if the courts got involved on the validity of these mandates having medical benefits or negative effects. It seems nowadays, no one bothers to care unless the courts are involved. Which is a shame. The data is quite obvious.

Vaccines work and people who refuse them generally have no real medical reason to do so.

When a government threatens to over rife states then yeah it is heading to be tyrannical.

Yes, someone is coming into homes and trying to force them to get a vaccine. How? By telling you you cannot have a job to sustain living if you do not take a shot. It's not abt jobs forcing employees to get a shot right now. It's about the government forcing employers to force vaccination of employees. Despite this administration saying that the federal government will not mandate vaccinations. Also that that is for employers to decide what is right for their employees. How many times these guys going back on their word.

If someone is not comfortable getting a vaccine then they shouldn't be forced into it or labeled a threat

The federal government actually doing what it was created to do is not tyranny. Especially in a temporary capacity.

No one is coming into your homes. That is false.

No one is saying you cannot have a job without a vaccine. That is also false.

What they are saying is jobs with a certain capacity of workers will have to vaccinate. This does not effect most small businesses. The solution is to either start a small business or join one.

Again, vaccinations are the best method of curving this virus. Maybe in court, your side can prove it is not and reverse these mandates or at least create a legitimate argument for some medical exemptions.

Our government makes a lot of people do a lot of uncomfortable things.

Work is often uncomfortable. Rarely do I hear people not complain about it. Oh, don’t get me wrong; no one is forcing anyone to work either but you kind of need to in order to put food on your table, right?

Seatbelts are also uncomfortable.

Urine tests are an outright invasion of privacy.

Not being able to buy beer on Sunday.

Children between 6-18 have to be a part of some kind of school program. Private, public, or homeschooled.

You can’t drive a car without a license, without passing a test.

The irrational fear of vaccines is coming to a head. Again, if you have a convincing argument; you’re not going to make it on some Go***amn meme site.

I get it, it’s frustrating. But if your solution is to take up arms and murder fellow Americans, then your solution is more shitty than a vaccine mandate.

I think I made it pretty clear on "coming in to our homes"
The solution is to get a new job at a smaller company or start your own business? That's some crap you're trying to pass off.

I didn't say you were going to like it or that you had to. I'm sure people thought traffic laws were intrusive when they were first implemented. Or any kind of regulations. But to say these things are tyrannical is a gross exaggeration. And it's not worth killing other Americans for it. But part of being an adult is accepting the responsibility for your actions. And that includes not getting a vaccine, my dude.
0 ups, 3y
You're way off on comparisons. No one is talking abt killing other Americans. It's a joke when democrats preach abt basic human rights like Healthcare, living wage etc and you try to say it's not a big deal for 80 million Americans to quit their careers and start a business or join a small business. Flawed thinking if you try to pass that off as acceptable.

Did you watch the address? If you did then you would understand with the way he talked about them.
And I get your quote reference. Though Indeed the media is terrible, that was one of the things that I totally disagreed with.

I assumed you were talking about Trump. But I guess you didn't watch the address and realize how Biden painted the unvaccinated as the enemy. Giving the green light for anger at unvaccinated?
0 ups, 3y,
1 reply
Yeah, but he really didn't call them the enemy, tho. Tsk. Which was the point of my contention. Nice try.

And Abby_Normal was specifically calling people with political views, rather than specific medical views, the enemy. When Biden actually does either of those things, maybe then that will justify such rhetoric.

Until then, it just makes Abby_Normal look like he wants to gun down people he disagrees with. Maybe you should talk them down, rather than me? Or just continue to look like a hypocrite.

Your choice!

:)

Look at your state county by county!

That's a good thought too, but I only posted it because Biden (NMP) said that he would "get them out of the way" regarding the governors that don't toe the line for his vaccine mandate.

That makes it a state issue, not so much a county issue.

...and if it really gets crazy, states will be more likely to secede, not counties. (Although there are counties in northern Colorado that want to become part of Wyoming and I've read about counties in eastern Oregon that want to become part of Idaho. That would be awesome!)
0 ups, 3y
No one is seceding unless they want their ass kicked by the US military again.

Kansas may have a Democrat Governor, but a Republican house and senate. I hope that the legislature sues Biden.

The governor's should have to state police arrest anyone that does up to interfere that includes federal troops.
