It is reported to have killed several children and we are supposed to believe they had this intel that they didn’t have last week. Based on what I've read, someone was seen loading a vehicle with explosives near the airport in Kabul. The US hit it using a drone strike and additional subsequent explosions happened.. Also according to one witness there additional explosions happened in a house near the car..... These additional explosions from the car and in the house nearby could've been caused by explosives and they also could've contributed to civilian casualties in the area. If that was more or less how it went down, it sucks that it killed civilians. But even if it didn't kill the terrorists involved, it's still a good thing the car and explosives were destroyed there instead of being detonated near a larger group of people. I guess it is still being investigated.

You seem to be assuming we killed civilians for no reason beyond optics based on your feelings and trying to claim that it proves BidenManBad. If nothing like that is proven I would almost bet money you'd simply say it was covered up.

This Afghanistan operation was just like war. Messy. Could it have been better? Maybe. But the fact is........nobody else wanted to touch it and Biden got it done. Y'all can cry about HOW he did now and thank him for doing it later.

If you mean wanting people to get vaccines and wear masks and whatnot, I think for most people it is BECAUSE they love their country and don't want it's citizens to die even if they don't agree politically. You may have been correct about the incident in question but your overall logic is still faulty. You were claiming this incident was "representative of President Joe Biden's inept incompetence".

Assuming the NYT article that I just read is the same one you read — "the tactical commander made the decision to strike his vehicle, launching a Hellfire missile at around 4:50 p.m."

I mean unless President Joe Biden was the "tactical commander" for that mission it doesn't really prove anything relating to him.

Also to go back to the OP meme... Even when we thought actual terrorists had been killed in that strike......... it wasn't good enough. There was literally no possible outcome regarding this incident which would've been acceptable to the right.

No Joe Biden is the commander in chief. His subordinates act under his authority and he bears responsibility. The situation commander didn’t decide on his own to fire a missile into a volatile situation. That strike was approved at the highest levels. Didn’t Joe say the Buck stops here? Oh yeah, then he said but it’s Trumps fault.

It wasn’t good enough because it was bullchit. A distraction to divert attention from his weakness and incompetence and instead, it proved it.

Thousands and thousands of civilian casualties have happened in Afghanistan since we've been at war with them. In 2008 we killed 47 civilians on the way to a wedding. 39 were women and children. Sucks but such is war. If you want to try and blame President Biden for (allegedly) OKing a strike on a car that our military claimed was a threat, or blame him for (allegedly) straight up bombing civilians as a distraction ( not clear which of those^ you actually believe) ok........
After that you can thank him for ending the war.

That civilians are killed in wars is obvious. That they are directly targeted by Joe Biden and his state department is a war crime. If they weren’t targeted, then they launched a drone strike without being able to tell the difference in a terrorist or an aide worker. Either way one more indication of the extreme incompetence of this administration and their willingness to murder innocents to appear savage.

? No.. either way it is not an indicator of incompetence. It depends entirely on which of the 2 happened. Either the military had faulty information (or incompetence as you put it) and the buck stops with Biden ....OR.... President Joe Biden intentionally ordered a hit on civilians and it was successfully carried out.

Both are indicators of incompetence or straight war crimes. If he knowingly struck innocent children then he is a war criminal based on the tenets of the war crimes tribunals that gave been enacted for other war criminals he should be charged m. Otherwise he and his staff are just extremely incompetent or worse they knew and didn’t care because the wanted a sound byte saying how strong he was to counteract the obvious weakness he has displayed.
