Ah, that doesn’t surprise me. Try submitting to https://imgflip.com/m/HistoryStream instead, it doesn’t needlessly censor content to fit an agenda like History_Memes does.

I wouldn't say it was him.

That stream's mod, 2SpiritCherokeePrincess, was the OP of that meme, and seems a tad 'concerned' about getting history 'properly visualized' in a manner which suits a particular 'illumination' of whose 'raison d'etre' might be familiar to some. a lot. (Got to be careful with the language lately or it's padlock time again).
3 ups, 3y,

Actually you are probably right. Had it been him, there'd be a small book explaining why OP was wrong.
1 up, 3y
Normally he would cite whatever rules he might be applying to the comment, and at most refer to what was said in a generalized way as they pertain to said rules, whereas this one flat out uses the notification as an oppurtunity for a parting shot in a debate where she couldn't handle facts contrary to her fanfic.

I and an 'associate' have gotten two such notifications this year, and it was pathetically obvious that is was another stream mod trying to emulate his language, but that they using his words and style to frame their own butthurt jabs, and clumsily so. They flat out utilized some of his phrasing, but stiched them together with their own personal hissy fitting.

We know who that lame imitator/fanboi/stalker is.

I'm the founder of the History_Memes Stream. This situation was brought to my attention and I've taken steps to address the issue.

History_Memes is not intended to promote any political ideology. Part of my mission in creating the stream was to promote civil and rational discussion and debate of historical subjects. Inevitably, politics factors into some discussions of that nature. However, it is intended to be a largely apolitical stream. I've updated the stream's description to convey this.
5 ups, 3y
Well congratulations on your choice of mods. Exactly the two that should never hold power over any stream. Especially a history stream that one doesn't want political. But good on you for addressing it.

Sounds like someone is playing meme gestapo. Sorry that happened to you.
4 ups, 3y
Happens when you post in a stream modded by a certain someone.
2 ups, 3y
This is what happens when learning and teaching real history is not the objective, but just something to be doused with enough shellac to smooth out mountains and turn pits into spires to spout tie-dyed fandiction from.

I am a liberal who believes American Capitalism is a problem and I still agree with this meme. Cherokee_Princess thinks disagreement is attacking them and responds to my posts saying nukes killed less than an invasion would have by deleting them and temp banning me and is now threating to permaban me.

I've noticed that enemies of free commerce tend to like violence as a way to enforce unpopular policies.

I was never able to really choose a side with the whole bombing of Japan cause we also seemed to have specifically targeted their Christian population
0 ups, 3y
Wait, what? Fat Man and Little Boy, although the most sophisticated bombs on the planet at the time, were simple hunks of iron once they left the aircraft. There was no guidance system whatsoever except for the fins. You dropped it over the center of town and let it do its job.

Maybe they aimed for a prominent landmark or building such as a church steeple, but they weren't targeting the Christians. Nukes don't discriminate.

Besides, if you were a Christian voluntarily living in mainland Japan by August 1945 then you've made too many bad life decisions to count.

The same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago. I was pissed but I let it go because haters gonna hate. The only difference between you and I, is I use dark mode....And you use light. But ill still upvote.

There are several stories to history, and most of the history learned in the US was taught in schools that now teach Critical Race Theory.
I agree that dropping two atomic bombs on civilian populations wasn't a good idea.

Ah yes, we’ll just get millions of Japanese civilians and troops, as well as Americans, killed instead

There was never a need to invade Japan. Seems that our naval blockade was enough to cause them to attack Pearl Harbor so they could restore the flow of Dutch petroleum.

It's important to not teach actual history in your schools if you want to keep the flow of willing soldiers enlisting. Sometimes even that doesn't work and you have to resort to conscription like the US did in Vietnam.

Japanese did not attack Pearl Harbor to restore f**king oil. They did it because they needed to weaken our navy so they could invade islands defended by American forces.

Learn your history

Learn my history? Learn to communicate without swearing. Civil adults are able to do this. Yes we were fighting with the Japanese prior to Pearl Harbor with an air force in China called The Flying Tigers. Yes the naval blockade on Japan was real.
1 up, 3y
We gave support to the Chinese that were being massacred by the Japanese (soldiers and civilians alike), but we weren’t at war with them
1 up, 3y
Also, you are completely ignoring the point that the Atom Bomb was our only good choic

There were three options. I will list them in order of Japanese deaths from most to least:
1) Invade
2) bomb them back into the industrial revolution
3) use nukes.

Conscription in Vietnam wasn't anything new, we've had it since the revolution.

Did you know that Beau Biden served in Kosovo and Iraq?

If you did any research at all you would find that it was.

If my research constitutes the big state narrative, I can just repeat what you learned in middle school.

If you thought for yourself you'd be inclined to do research, but it's just easier to believe the government school narrative.

Government school narrative? Oh you ARE a funny one! I WENT to public school ant they taught that the bombs were BAD! So I am the one thinking for myself, YOU seem to be the indoctrinated one.

Like the liberal cousin, you cannot keep on subject. I never claimed bombs were bad, I said dropping them on children women and men who were not engaged in the war in a city that wasn't strategic was bad.

The meme is about mockery and censorship of things that cause mental strife to those who don't believe that anything that they emotionally cling to in the past could possibly be wrong.

You're just as guilty

And so are you

And anyway, am I asking mods to delete your comments? No. I'm not censoring you. Say what you want.

And besides that was not the point of the meme. The point is that leftists censor anything that they disagree with.

It was never necessary to bomb civilians like that. Dresden Germany was another bombing of a non strategic city.
0 ups, 3y,
1 reply
It was necessary to show Russia what the bombs could do, they were next on our list.
0 ups, 3y
Ok, if Russia was next, why didn't we use those bombs on military targets in Russia? Seems like a waste to use them killing children women and men who were in a non strategic city. Didn't we enter the war in Europe because Hitler was gassing innocent Jews?

But yes there can be disagreements about history, but the problem I had was whoever removed my comment did so and said I was"blatantly lying about history"
0 ups, 3y
Sure, just like everyone thinks that I am lying because they won't research anything other than the narrative fed by the same body teaching CRT and forcing youngsters to wear masks. Funny how happy people are to fund their own enslavement. Oh well, guess I am just along for the ride. But speaking of foreign intervention, Afganistan was sure a raging success, huh?
