I will say that one glaring exception is that COVID vaccines are free yet, demographically, minorities have way lower vaccine rates than whites. Go figure that one out.

There are a lot of black Republicans that do not claim the title but there is no simple answer. Blacks here in the south do not fit a single mold. I have seen many at the large mudding events flying what northerners claim is a confederate battle flag while driving lifted trucks blasting country music. I think the voting issue is more a group think issue for many, they vote as their parents did and get some sense of togetherness out of it. Others are starting to vote issues over party and that will continue as both parties promise the world and deliver very little.
