Actually those Cuban cars tend to be kept in mint condition. It Cuba had capitalism and free markets then those cars would go for a lot in today's classic car industry. . .oh wait, then that would mean the people who owned the cars would profit and not the government. . .nevermind. . .

My uncle in Cuba sold his classic car and purchased his way and his 2 daughters to USA with that money. He originally refused the offer of some russian who wanted to give him 2 Ladas for it. True story.

Police are actually less likely to be shot or killed during an encounter or arrest if they are unarmed. Look at studies, guy.

If the criminal has a warrant & does not want to be identified or hauled to jail he’ll use his gun. It’s not about police having guns. It’s about criminals having guns.
