Shapiro is against, as I am, the LGBT community trying to shove their hate and bigotry of those who don't think like them onto others. I don't have a problem if you're gay and I don't have a problem if you're transexual. If you're a consenting adult then by all mean, live your life. In the video, one person was a Trump voter, another was an Elizabeth warren voter. The rest of the voters were Bernie Sanders supporters. Colbert had a bunch of gimmicks up his sleeve, but none of the people he interviewed were impressed. Turns out that they are much less susceptible to pandering that one would think; including much less susceptible to Candace Owens' tricks. When Colbert asked the voters why they wouldn't vote for Kamala Harris, the black female candidate sure to win a lot of votes for being a double minority alone, one voter said, "There are people who look like me locked up because of her."

Yes, she mentions this on her show sometimes. She makes it very clear that she switched parties and ideals when she found out what the Democrats actual believe. And now that the Democrats are further left in this country than they have ever been, any sane person would agree.

To answer your question: I believe getting your facts straight and forming an opinion on those facts create feelings on how you respond to them. Some feelings are based on incorrect facts and therefore don't mean anything. As Shapiro would say: "Facts don't care about your feelings." I tend to agree. A fact is a fact and a feeling is just a reaction to those facts. And depending on whether you believe the fact or not, you'll form an opinion.

And the fact you keep saying "we" as if you have split personalities, makes it more difficult to have a conversation with you. Not sure who I'm talking to, or if I'm talking to multiple entities.
