I'm about to ask this rhetorically, you don't need to divulge anything you don't want, obviously:
Have you ever been in the military? Have you ever served your nation, state or your community in any way? Do you understand what duty, honor, personal sacrifice and selfless service means to the men and women that have/do/will?
I would never advocate for someone to be FORCED to salute any flag, sing along to any anthem or pledge allegiance to any nation. But for those of us who have volunteered to serve, seeing someone else who volunteered to represent the US disrespecting the nation... it's insulting... it's disgusting... and it directly upon her character as a human being.
You don't have to cultishly idolize a nation to not be disrespectful to its flag or anthem.
