Media Report What They Want You to Know, Not What You Should Know...

I don't want to piss on anyone's parade, but one of those VAERS reports was me. I had an unexpected reaction to the second shot. Then it resolved on its own. No problem. Get vaxxed or don't, I don't give a shit. But ask yourself this: do you believe ALL of the conspiracy theories, or are there some that are ridiculous?

Something that I think is often overlooked is that difference between COVID and the flu is that a year ago we had vaccines and effective treatments for the flu, but for COVID we did not. A year later and we are much farther along. We have several brands of vaccine, and there are treatments that, if not as effective as flu treatments, certainly provide a measure of optimism. And I like the point you make about conspiracy theories!

I had forgotten about the new treatments. Mostly remdesivir, but I have heard there are others. Which, of course, we got from space aliens travelling with Elvis.

Except we didn't for the flu. The flu vaccine for 2019 was only 14% more effective than not getting the vaccine. Vitamin D however was 24% more effective.

That's part of what I am getting at. 14% is better than 0. There are and will never be any 100% solutions. We have to create solutions by layering strategies and not crying about any one strategy.

CDC admits flu vaccines don't work. Like near zero effectiveness. You think "flu treatments" are effective? What are you talking about? Vitamin C, tea, OTC meds?

All this obsession about whether things "work." It is not a question whether vaccines work or not, anymore than masks. The question is to what degree do they work, and for whom. There are steroids and other treatments that have been shown to work. But by all means deny, deny, deny.

Steroids treatments were shown to work nearly 100% of the time. Hydroxychloroquine was shown to also work extremely well.

VAERS is a self-reporting tool that the CDC uses to follow up on.

It is not and never was a tool for reporting confirmed cases. Ever.

One man used VAERS to report that the vaccine turned him into The Incredible Hulk. Do not use VAERS for vaccine injury data. It is not the right tool for that job!
