I can agree with that. However Biden is proving himself to be one of the most Marxist presidents we had. He uses the executive orders to create law, in direct violation of the Constitution both in letter and spirit of the law. That makes him a dictator.

Compared with such losers as say, Woodrow Wilson, Andrew Johnson, or FDR (if respecting separation of powers is concerned), then I still say he's pretty mild. None of the problematic orders will hold up in court if challenged. A real Marxist would be changing the system entirely...only way Biden threatens to do so is his completely unnecessary commission to study the Supreme Court makeup.

BTW do you mean Lyndon Johnson? I don't know much about Andrew Johnson to know if he was a good or bad president. Andrew Jackson, on the other hand, was awful. The only good thing that I know about Jackson is that he is the only president to have balanced the budget and he was a Democrat. But back then Democrats weren't interested in destroying the country.

Lyndon Johnson was an absolutely awful president. In my opinion FDR is still the worst just based on the fact that he imprisoned thousands of innocent American citizens of Italian, German and Japanese ancestry. In addition to his horrible mismanagement of Great Depression caused it to continue for a decade from when he first took office. Those 2 reasons put him just ahead of Woodrow Wilson and Barack Obama.

I think Biden/Harris will end up surpassing all of them as worst president. He's going to "Build Back Better" with the Great Reset and completely destroy America and everything it ever stood for.

BTW I was strongly opposed to Trump following in Obama's footsteps by creating law through executive orders. That is one of my biggest complaints about Trump. That and he spent money just as fast as Obama and Obama was the worst.

The difference is that EO's, before Obama, were written to decide how the Executive branch of the government would be set up and ran. After Obama, they still were for their original intention but they added law making.

First things first. A president is prevented from making law. That is the sole purpose of the House of Representatives. The founding fathers set our government up to run this way because sending people to government to "represent" you is better than a straight democracy. It is saying that the people, through their elected Representatives, make the law.

So for any president to make law they are in direct violation of both the spirit and the letter of the Constitution. We are a Republic and NOT a dictatorship.

Obama should have never gotten away with using Executive Orders and Execute Actions to create law. EO's and EA's are limited to how the Executive Branch of the government should be run. NEVER how to control the American people.

So Obama, Trump AND Biden were/are in violation of the Constitution.

Just another of the many reasons why the president must be stopped from making law. Because you know the first thing the next Republican president (if that ever happens because you guys cheat so much) will be to rescind everything the previous Democrat did. Enacting law by EO must be forbidden and the other two branches should have stomped all over Obama the first time he did that and put an end to it because now we are a dictatorship.

The left has perpetuated a myth from day one that Biden was undoing some of Trumps EO's. He did undo a few but most of the EO's he signed had nothing to do with Trump. But the scary part is Biden didn't even know what he was signing. He was handed a stack of EO's to sign that he had no clue what they were. He didn't write them and he hadn't read them.

So the question is who is running the country? It's certainly not Biden, he's not mentally fit to run the country and you guys knew that when you voted for him. Your irrational Trump hatred that was fueled by the media controlled your entire life.

Trump wasn't 1% as bad as you think he was. Never let your emotions cloud your judgement because when you do you vote for senile old men who are completely unqualified to lead this nation.

Unlike you, I am not doubting your quote. Nor am I calling it a lie. I don't remember Reagan saying that but then I didn't pay much attention to politics in the 80's. At least I was conscious enough to vote for Reagan both times. I would like more context than just that snippet to see if it makes more sense in a broader scope. Regardless, no president has ever spoken coherently all of the time because they are just people like the rest of us. I am sure there are probably a lot of other quotes that the left hangs on to about Reagan, Bush Sr, Bush Jr and especially Trump (the most hated and despised president by the left and the most loved by the right, at least in my lifetime).

But if you want to compare odd or strange comments then there is no end to the bizarre, false, strange and just stupid comments that your fake president Biden has made. Just the "kids love to rub my leg hairs" comment is creepy enough.

I don't recognize the statue, but I would say that is way over simplifying.

Nazis pretty much ran and stayed in power on fear of Marxism. They destroyed monuments because they wanted to eliminate any sign that they had lost WWI. They weren't defeated, the revised story goes, they just suffered a setback. They are pretty much the only group I know of who were actively trying to alter the perception of history by destroying monuments.

Really, creating monuments is generally about either honoring the past or changing perceptions of it. The confederate statues in the US were created to change history - most were built during/leading u to the civil rights movement to try and alter the perception of the south. We weren't brutes. We were just misunderstood.

Please read the plaque on any Confederate monument. Most start with something like "In memory of" or something to that effect. Most of these monuments were put up as the last of the Civil War generation was dying out. Admittedly, there was probably a bit of Southern nationalism, but it had nothing to do with Civil Rights or oppression. Please show me any proof to the contrary. Confederate monuments are no different than any other war monuments. Making up history out of thin air is not history, it's lying.

No different than any other war monument - We generally don't build statues and celebrate rebels and traitors.

Robert E. Lee was quoted on several occasions that he opposed any monuments because they would keep open the sores of war... Southern response: build a monument.

Many of the monuments were built by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The funding of the statues was funded in part by the sale of a pamphlet, called Origins of the Ku Klux Klan. The lady who wrote it was the Mississippi division president, Laura Martin Rose. Her writings which honored the Klan are identified as being one of the things that led to the almost defunct clan being re-founded in 1915.

So while the fact that promoting the Klan paid for the statues isn't direct proof of their purpose, it sure doesn't look good.

Many of the plaques I've seen try to imply that it wasn't about slavery it was about states rights. Totally dumb. It was about states rights - to keep slaves. Every state that seceded mentioned slavery in its articles of secession.

Weird, don't you think, that there are so few monuments to the southern unionists who fought on the side of the union? Its almost like its not about honoring the soldiers who died. One might think its about glorifying the cause they died for.

The 'lost cause narrative' is trash, and that's what the monuments are there to promote.
