Then there is this one....
"The claim that Reed was recently arrested for allegedly delivering 400 mail-in ballots with Democratic candidates already filled out is FALSE, based on our research. The posts do not mention that this was regarding the June 2020 primary, and not the presidential election. Further, Reed was arrested for modifying 300 absentee ballot applications, not 400 ballots, that signed voters up for the Democratic primary without their consent. Election officials were aware of the matter and were able to send voters new applications. No candidates were pre-marked, as the posts claim."
Then, I find this....
"So far, only a handful of cases have resulted in criminal charges alleging wrongdoing β some of them against Republican voters aiming to help Trump, according to officials, including a man charged Monday with trying to cast a ballot in Pennsylvania for the president in the name of his deceased mother."
So I keep looking...
Does that mean there was zero voter fraud? No. Among the 150 million-plus votes cast in 2020, there were a handful of instances of people voting illegally or double voting. But when the New York Times contacted officials in each state, none reported anything resembling widespread or concerning levels voter fraud.
In fact, the most notable threat to 2020 election integrity has come from not from voters or voting machines, but Republican officials. From Sen. Lindsay Graham of South Carolina inexplicably asking the Georgia Secretary of State about tossing ballots to the president and his supporters pushing for the non-certification of millions of legitimate votes, itβs clear and shameful that officials in one party have no issue with disenfranchising voters if it will bring victory.
