I have doubts that Derek Chauvin woke up that day thinking, "I'm gonna kill a black man". What really disgusts me is how the liberals are now proud of their revenge. You have a bunch of lives ruined here. Chauvin's, and Chauvins family. Imagine the pain of being the wife or child of Derek and being known as the child of George Floyd's killer. And Derek chauvin is probably going to get a undeserved life sentence because cities will burn down if he don't.

Also The family will never get to see their dad, or husband again.

If you had read the transcripts of what happened you would know that because Floyd was having a heart attack from an overdose of fentanyl he was complaining about not being able to breath long before they got in on the ground and put a knee on his neck. Floyd had taken a fatal dose and regardless if the cops even showed up that day it was going to be Floyd's last day on earth.

So, you kneel on the neck of a guy who can't breathe? For 9 minutes?

I never justified what Officer Chauvin did. I was just saying that his breathing problems started long before he was dropped to the ground. They first tried to get him in the car and he resisted. Not violently where he was a danger to the cops. He just did not want to go in the car because he said he couldn't breath. They got him in anyway and he got back out. They tried a second time and the same thing happened. All of the time he was in the car he repeated that he couldn't breath. He was also scared for his life. He thought the cops were going to kill him. One of the cops kept reassuring him that they were not going to harm him and that he just needed to cooperate. When he got out the second time that is when they took him to the ground and put Chavin put his knee on his neck.

Apparently the knee on the neck is standard procedure but I don't know why. Since Floyd I have been videos of photos of cops putting on or two knees (one knee from two different officers) on people's necks and it wasn't just blacks. Several white people were subdued that way. That seems very dangerous to the suspect. I could understand doing this if the suspect was violent.

Floyd was not violent, just uncooperative because he thought he was going to die. I am guessing he knew he was going to die because of his fentanyl overdose.

The whole thing was a sad situation.

It was shown false at the trial. His knee was at least intermittently moved to the shoulder.

Regardless, Chauvin choked him to death.

One medical examiner said asphyxiation and another said heart failure but both pointed to the knee on the neck as the catalyst for his death. Who knows. Has Floyd not been ODing at the time he might have survived and we would have never known about him.

And that life sentence will only last for about 5 minutes. He will be killed in prison.

At least not in the courtroom.

However, Chauvin, and other cops by extension, have been convicted of being racist in the court of public opinion.

That is why BLM rioted even though they got the verdict they wanted. They didn't care that Officer Chauvin was convicted of murder, they wanted him convicted of the much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much worse crime of racism.

The punishment for that can only be a very slow and excruciating death of the perpetrator, his family, anyone who knows him and anyone who utters his name. Ya know, Officer Chauvin. Oh!!! Dang it!!!! I'm in trouble now.

Did George Floyd have elephants dancing on his neck? If that's the case then Officer Chauvin should have been acquitted. Elephants dancing on anyone's neck will kill you much faster than a police officer's knee on the neck of a man who was already dying of a heart attack from an overdose of fentanyl.
