Leftism is an ideology which has become the party of intolerance, censorship, and fear. It has also become violent and oppressive. If you are on the left, you are on the wrong side of history.

That’s how backwards things are these days, reality is fantasy. Want to know how a conservative thinks, ask a conservative, want to know how a liberal thinks, ask a liberal, want to know what a fascist thinks, ask those who are trying to stamp out history, censor books, cancel everything, and stop people from expressing themselves in a public forum. If you think further left is getting away from fascism, then you don’t realize the political spectrum has turned on its head since WW2.

I think it is highly likely that the "insurrectionists" are no different than the BLM rioters...orchestrated made for TV events where a few average Joes get caught up in the otherwise scripted mob mentality and become the poster children. We are being programmed to fight with each other and to stay from each other in the name of personal safety.

This is exactly the type of false equivalence you get from a group that is not working in fact… the spark that ignited Black Lives Matter was televised police slayings that actually happened in the real world. the spark for the November 6 insurrection was a lie that did not actually happen. The Black Lives Matter protests had as their goal improving and correcting the existing system, the January 6 insurrection by Trump sought to destroy the existing system. The reason why the populist right thinks of Black Lives Matter as terrorists is because they cannot conceive of sharing the country with brown people… To them including others in America is tantamount to destroying it. This is why racists will keep drawing these same false equivalencies...they are working from a lie at the outset.

To be clear...I support no one on either side that crossed the line beyond truly peaceful protests nor am I concerned about sharing the U.S. with "brown people". The problem we have is that the extremes on both sides think they have the moral high ground which justifies their team's bad behavior. Both sides pick their teams media reinforcement outlets to prove to themselves that they are the correct side. So, you really believe the guy sitting in Pelosi's chair or the guys behind the podium sat down and planned a government takeover? That a couple hundred good guys couldn't have squelched that event in 15 minutes? That the rioters carrying TV's out of Target were doing so in the name of fighting oppression?

Here's how you have to look at it. Ted Cruz is a professional liar, his job is to enrage his base and foment outrage as to fight a strawman and look strong. Thereby getting re-elected over and over fooling his base into thinking he's "fighting the good fight".

Here's the problem, he's destroying his party, which is great for liberals. They are pulling themselves deeper and deeper into trumpism, conspiracy theories, lies and hate. That won't end well, never does.

Let Cruz destroy himself and his party and just watch everything go up in flames. 🍿
