This just in- a few paragraphs from an article-

"Tatiana Schlossberg became an “objective journalist” for a while, covering the environment for The New York Times from 2014 to 2017.

When she wrote a book in 2019 called “Inconspicuous Consumption,” NBC put her on TV and pushed her to run for office. She deferred, saying she is a journalist … a political activist of a different stripe.

On Jan. 24, she reviewed three books on “environmental disaster” for The New York Times Book Review. One book had an especially provocative title: “How to Blow Up a Pipeline,” by a far-left Swedish professor named Andreas Malm. It was published on Jan. 5 by Verso Books, which calls itself “the largest independent, radical publishing house in the English-speaking world.”

That sure shows love and concern for the environment, I hope they do Environmental Impact Statements first, wouldn't want to break the law when you're saving the planet.

It is still better to fill our highways instead of the ocean and nature. Humans made these problems, humans have to suffer the aftermath, not other animals

Did you know that oil naturally seeps into the ocean all by itself and has done so long before mankind ever thought about drilling for oil? In fact the oil that seeps into the Gulf of Mexico on a daily bases is more than they BP oil spill that Obama caused to appease George Soros.

Because oil is a biological substance the ocean cleans itself of the oil.

So if by chance a pipeline dumped oil into the ocean then that's okay. The ocean has that covered. That is why the Exxon Valdez oil spill got cleaned up much sooner than expected.

The same applies to land, because oil is a biological substance.

It is not better to fill our highways because if a car drives through it it could lose control. Plus when it first starts raining the oil that spills out of cars normally creates a skid hazard until enough rain washes it off the road.

It is always much safer for it to go by pipeline. Fake President Biden has no clue what he is doing. He has always been a blithering idiot only now he is a senile blithering idiot.

Just in, oil spills on land it was pumped from

it still has not been finished cleaning. The oil is stuck and hurting the animals. I will ask you this question. If nature can naturely clean itself up, Then why do animals get cover in it? animals would have a natural resistance to it if the nature can clean itself up. Also not all oil nodes are on the coast, only in a select few areas

Yes. Oil and gas are organic hydrocarbons. They were made from ancient algae deposits on formerly ocean floors. Oil is natures perfect storage system for solar energy. Oil and gas are 100% natural.
Animals get covered by limited oil spills and then are photographed to convince people that every animal is covered in oil every day. Dawn cashes in on the widespread perception that oil spills are widespread and out of control, they are not.
If you are headed to college, at least take one geology class so that you understand how much of the earth's present landmass was under oceans, why we find oil and gas where we do and so much more real science.
The earth has an almost unlimited supply of resources, the issue is how to economically acquire them. We have known about all of the resources in Texas, Pennsylvania, Montana and other places, the issue was the technology to produce those resources. Frac(k)ing is not new, used over 70 years, horizontal/directional drilling is not new, we just have the way to precisely drill 2 to 3 miles to exact targets.
70% of the earth's surface is under oceans, and virtually unexplored. We won't run out as long as free market capitalism and not communism exists. Free markets find a way. Communists control populations with shortages.

And we have to get our own oil now from other countries rasing the price to make you go crazy

Not sure what you are saying. I'm personally too sane to go crazy.
Obama Executive Ordered me out of my career twice. People think the only things we do with oil is drive cars and trucks. Few people realize all those chemical plants outside of NYC in New Jersey, Delaware, Chicago, Pittsburgh and other places are processing oil and gas to make the raw materials used to make almost everything we use. Not to mention the millions of jobs from making those things. Bet you didn't know your fleece jacket is made from natural gas did you. Oh yeah recycled plastics, whatever, oil had something to do with it.
So will I go crazy? No. I live in a solar house with solar electricity, you know off the grid. I have abundant water, wildlife and other resources, so while communism starves all the urban dwellers, I'll be hanging out at the BBQ, drinking home brew and laughing hysterically as they all whine about what they elected. So sad, so very, very sad.

My grandfather did too. Born in 1916. When he showed up to the one room school house he attended he was told he was the only fourth grader so he would be in with the fifth grade. He said no, I'm supposed to be in fourth grade. They said, no your not, so he walked away from school with his third grade education, got a job shoveling out stalls at a dairy and was wiser than every university educated Marxist in history. I say skip on!

Yes! Also it makes sense why he was wiser than collage people: they get brainwashed so not going to college these days is good. Besides the millionaires are college dropouts

It does cause a problem for animals who get covered in it. But I wasn't talking about animals, just the ocean.

Soros just invested heavily in the Brazos Oil. Brazos was one of two oil companies that has the equipment to do deep water drilling for oil.

Because of this the leadership of BP oil cashed in all of their stock options. After they did that they had a massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

All Democrats are essentially puppets of the New World Order and Soros is the biggest advocate and financier of the New World Order. So when Soros said "jump", Obama responded with "how high".

Fake news. These pipelines leak less than tankers, trucks, and trains.
2 ups, 4y
True. Oil companies don't make obscene profits by leaking oil and gas, only by getting it to consumers.
2 ups, 4y,

the amount of oil that spills from the leaks is enormous, while from trains and other modes of transportation leak much much less. Also trains and other vechlies only leak when the crash hits the oil area of the car, which is well cushioned

America is the largest producer of oil, but we cant buy it from ourselves lol.
Some believe that Kennedy was shot because he wanted to undo oil price manipulation
2 ups, 4y
BS, you have no clue how it works. I worked over 35 years in oil and gas. We complied with every environmental regulation, kept constantly updating to stay in compliance with the ever changing regs. There are more miles of natural gas pipelines alone in the US than there are miles of highways. you only hear about the ones where someone tried to fix their own water heater of furnace and blew up their house.
Please, don't embarrass yourself repeating the environmentalist dogma, we've heard it for decades while we have made the planet cleaner. PS, if you are an Environmental Sciences graduate, the best environmental job you can get is with an oil company, they actually do something about the environment.
1 up, 4y
But you forgot to add in the amount of CO2 all those trucks, tankers, and trains add to the environment. The pipeline adds zero CO2, takes all those trucks off the roads, and you don't have those tankers dumping their dirty bilge into the oceans..
