Because you used it to dismiss a years worth of violence across the entire country. Moral equivalence arguments are never valid. BLM hurt real people, tens of millions in damages. Violence for political change is terrorism. It doesn't matter who else did what, when or where. Add more terrorist to the club but BLM's guilt doesn't change.

1. Most protesters did not enter the Capitol or riot. 2. The rioters were amazingly respectful of the Capitol compared to BLM burning, looting. Not right but unusually calm for a riot.
