Congressional Term Limits NOW

Not sure how this relates to President Trump although, I guess to some of you, everything comes back to your obsession with him.

Fauci's patents were obtained by using taxpayer funded labs, staff and resources so in fact his fortune WAS subsidized by we the taxpayers. In my opinion, these assets should belong to those of us that paid to create them not the guy that received a significant salary to do a job.

I am pretty sure that the reason a lot of people resort to name calling so quickly is because when you can't win a debate using data and facts, you have learned that insults (racist, homophobe, idiot, etc...) are an effective tool at shutting the other side up.

MOST private schools and colleges receive government grants for research. Should those researchers surrender their work and the long hours of study, analysis experimentation and effort go to the government, as well?

Fauci performed his research at government funded labs...so you think his patents should, what? Revert to the government? Why that sounds like SOCIALISM to me.

So, then, why not take all the next logical steps: provide every American with tax-paid medical care, housing, a guaranteed minimum monthly income, and a free education?

You can't have one without the other, and if you're going to to whole hog socialism, then you should be prepared to tax the hell out of the wealthy and the corporations and redistribute that money to benefit anyone making less than 75K a year.

Getting a grant for research is far different than being a salaried employee on the public payroll using all public resources and facilities. Fauci is a guy who hustled us taxpayers to gain more wealth than he will ever need in one lifetime. If he cared as much about people as he cares about gaining wealth and power maybe he could part with, I don't know...Half of the $500 million...to change the lives of some downtrodden folks? But you feel free to trust him as your savior and hero.

We currently have socialism in many forms with subsidies and welfare as well as housing and medical care for people of lesser means, which I support. I completely support universal health care. While I do not support free indoctrination...I mean higher education...there must be something done to reform the big business that is now called college education which buries people in debt after they realize their gender studies degree is NOT going to land them a six figure job. A friend of my kid's landed that exact degree and is still shell shocked that it has been three years and he is still a bar back at a local bar.

Just maybe, instead of "whole hog socialism" or "corporate soulless capitalism" there is something somewhere in between?
