Because she hasn't been sworn in as vice president yet.  She can still be senator until then.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree...she's a Senator until inauguration day.

Yes - but historically speaking - VPs bow out of Senate when they are sure they have won.  Typically ousting their Senator Title Publically & not swearing in as a Senator.
