I've seen conservatives take over entire school districts. You all are dreaming if you think teachers are just sitting there over zoom indoctrinating kids with their own personal political ideologies while their parents sitting there listening in the background.

For one, they have to talk about what's going on in the world. Kids will ask. Teachers are trained and warned about being partisan. Teaching is all about getting kids to think for themselves. Trumpers project so much, they go around accusing everyone else of the shit they themselves would do. No one is brainwashing your kids, not for $25/hr.

Teachers are allowed to be activists in their own time. It is already illegal for them to indoctrinate children. These protections already exist. Real conservatives should know that.

The fact you don’t see the difference in an adult making a conscious decision on what to listen to and the captive audience of schoolchildren is the height of ignorance. False equivalency not even In the same universe. It is in no way the same thing.

Indoctrination is only illegal in regards to those who safeguard the education of our children. We believe, rather arrogantly, that due to their age that their intelligence is too limited to discern between fact and opinion. Unfortunately, children are not the only ones guilty of being gullible. The difference is, children are more likely to figure it out faster than adults who are often too stubborn to reconsider the opinions that are thrust upon them.

And that is the context it is being referred to. Teachers are free to be active socialists all they want. But they may not bring that into the classroom as they currently often do. If they are they should be removed. This is K-12 and supporting leftist pronouncements and slogans in the classroom is not conservative or American.

Some Teachers are most certainly doing it and are making socialist demands before they will return to work on top of it. The only teachers being fired for it are if they are conservative and in those cases I’ve seen they aren’t even saying it on The classroom. The leftists look the other way for one of their own and encourage it. “By any means necessary”

If they are currently and often do, then the law will protect the children. Especially with online courses, the scrutiny has never been so high. So, I doubt it is that much of a widespread problem as has been originally claimed.

Certainly they are curtailed with parents potentially eavesdropping. However at least in California they are also making demands before returning to the classrooms. Like placing a moratorium on private schools, defunding police, passing the heroes act, these are leftist agendas and talking points.

It's not a moratorium on private schools, they don't want any new charter schools opening. And they don't want to defund the police, they want the police out of schools.
