Reagan would've conceded honorably and NEVER lied about make-believe voting fraud.

Reagan was a consummate patriot and would not have just gone along to get along. NO WAY would he have NOT taken a stand for America & Americans. If you were even halfway paying attention, you could not call this attempted steal "make-believe", fluffy.

I wholeheartedly agree.

Indeed

The baseless "voter fraud" hoax is a narrow con that only serves one man's interests. The GOP down-ballot did quite well, much better than expected, in fact.

Reagan would take the long view. He would accept the election results. He would urge national unity, just as every losing Presidential candidate in our history has done in the past until now.

He would advise his Party to work harder, work smarter, and remind them they will get another chance in 4 years.

Indeed

Which is why if Trump tries to steal this election from the jaws of defeat, I'll be out in the streets to protest and so will millions of others.

But it won't come to that.

The "voter fraud" hoax is collapsing. AG Barr's statement yesterday was another nail in the coffin.

Trump has been in the headlines constantly for 4+ years, but the post-Trump era is in sight. His political influence is waning by the day. The GOP is slowly and steadily abandoning him and moving on.

He’d sell missiles to Iran and then lie about it.

You didn't mention McCain & Romney, but they are much more of Reagan's intellectual heirs than Trump. We also happen to know what they would both do in the event of a presidential election loss, because they actually did lose presidential elections.

In defeat, both candidates offered stirring words of wisdom, grace, and conciliation from a time when the GOP genuflected to the legacy of Reagan and, right or wrong, actually meant it.

They realized their commitments to democracy, and American unity, were more important than their own political ambitions. And they were aware history had its eyes on them.

lol Trump gives very little indication he even knows who Reagan is, and as a matter of fact Trump was a Democrat in the 1980s.

Good leadership means putting country first, not party.

Ronald Regan worked hand-in-hand with the Majority Leader Tip O'Neill (a Democrat, who was Speaker of the House from 1977-1987: i.e. the vast majority of Reagan's Presidency) on many initiatives. If Reagan wasn't willing to work with Democrats, he wouldn't have gotten anything done as President.

He didn't demonize the other side as anarchists and traitors.

He maintained national unity and remained laser-focused on the major challenge of the day: The Soviet Union. He forged a political consensus at home to stop them abroad, and stop them he did.

As a result, he won elections with impressive margins. The '84 election was a landslide in the actual sense of the word.

And his VP G.W. Bush's victory in '88 extended Republican control of the Presidency for 12 consecutive years, a string of success that hasn't been replicated by either party since.

Didn’t they hate Reagan too? This was someone they made commercials about, where he couldn’t even put a 2 piece puzzle together, when in reality, he would reason Hollywood stars out of becoming communist.
Making a Republican out to be dumb? Sounds modernly familiar...

It is true that the media was unkind to Reagan in his initial years. Painting him as mostly as an inexperienced failure but instead of going home, taking all his toys away, and calling the media the enemy of the American people; he took the sucker punches and turned the other cheek. He was great at not just stirring up his base but the entire American people. Like a President should. So much so, that I believe he was the last President to actually win more than 400 electoral votes in an election. And won almost every state in his second term. Something that if achieved today by a Democrat, Republicans would've called that evidence of fraud. He was a good man despite his faults. No one is perfect but I doubt anyone would be quick to call him the worst President we've had without saying at least one but!

Romney fashioned his political brand upon Reagan's, 100%. Right down to the tough-on-Russia rhetoric which has since totally left the GOP building for mysterious reasons.

So: What would Romney have done if he lost the '20 election to Biden?

Well: We actually know what he did do when he lost the '12 election to Obama

Read and discover

When Romney said leaders have to reach across the aisle, he really didn't have to reach far as this wuss IS a Democrat (RINO). Gosh, he is one disgusting, wimpy, sad excuse for a man. Reagan belongs in a category well away from him & I would never have asked what Romney would do as I abhor RINOs.

Or bomb a village in Nicaragua. Or Iraq. Or Grenada. Or any country in the world that's even remotely left wing. I simply don't understand the obsequious and fawning worship of Reagan from both Republicans and Democrats. He's one of the worst presidents in American history, from a foreign and domestic point of view.
