Let's make an example of Biden vs. Trump.
Trumps appointee for Secretary of Energy
Rick Perry ran a state brimming with oil, gas, and wind energy. But heading the U.S. Department of Energy means managing the world’s largest store of nuclear weapons. For that, America’s new Secretary of Energy came to the job unprepared. In fact, he didn’t even know nuclear energy was part of the package when he said he wanted to “do away with” the department at a 2011 presidential debate.
We can assume he wasn’t studying up on atomic particles during his stint on Dancing With the Stars. He didn’t do well in science as a student, either. According to his Texas A&M transcript, Perry got a few Cs, a D, and an F in chemistry and physics. Perry’s predecessors include a Nobel Prize-winning physicist and another who ran an atomic particle accelerator. It’s safe to call his appointment a step down.
Now let's look at Kamala Harris, who happens to be a colored woman. Whom you say is chosen by her demographics, not her qualifications - you racist.
2003, Harris became the District Attorney of San Francisco. Harris later started a program that gave first-time drug offenders the chance to earn a HSD and find employment.
Having done two terms as DA of SF, Kamala was elected to serve as Attorney General of California. In this role she worked to hold corporations accountable and protect the state's people.
Over the course of nearly two terms in office, Kamala won a $25 billion settlement for California homeowners hit by the foreclosure crisis, defended California's landmark climate change law, protected the ACA, helped win marriage equality for all Californians, and prosecuted trasnational gangs that trafficked in guns, drugs, and human beings (You should like that, you guys are always talking about that.)
In the Senate, Kamala's mission remained unchanged: fighting for the rights of all. Since taking office, she had introduced and cosponsored legislation to raise wages for working people, reform broken justice systems, make healthcare a right for all Americans, address the epidemic of substance abuse, support veterans and military families, and expand access to childcare for working parents.
Please, tell me, troll. How is that not qualifiable for the role of Vice President?
