The fact that this happened quietly without fireworks and large grandstanding events to show that hey, a black man swore in a woman to the supreme court and we're being so progressive so you should praise us for that says a lot about this administration...equality and inclusivity in a humble manner, I like that.

this meme is proof that republicans need the game of identity politics more than the democrats

I've seen the stream, but for the life of me can't figure out what it's all about. Just exactly what does the "President" do?

Nothing But Mod The Stream That's It.

Obama was elected by the country which was not just Democrats who only make up 38%. Many Republicans voted for Obama.

There were no Republican candidates. Both were Rhinos.

People like my dad just wanted to be a part of history and say they voted for the first black president. He hates that he did that now.

Sometimes you end up on the wrong side of history. I voted against the first British Presidential candidate. That was also
History.

Who was that?

Barrack Obama, who had dual citizenship as US for being born in Hawaii and British because Kenya was Britain’s colony when Barrack’s father was born in Kenya, and Barrack is his son. The birth certificate was a red herring dangled by Obama to detract from the citizenship issue, and make fools of the birther crowd. The real story is he entered college as a British student. He had until age 21 to pick between the dual citizenships. No one has verified whether he did that in his junior year of college, or continued to claim British citizenship in college thereafter, or 5 years after college when he started law school. The schools are tight lipped. We may have elected our first British ruler. I doubt the facts will emerge during his lifetime.

Hawaii is a US state. If he was born in Hawaii then he is a US citizen.

Correct me if I'm wrong though.

DUAL citizenship, until age 21. Then he had to choose. Ever hear about his choice?

Actually, no i haven't. He was born in the U.S anyway.
0 ups, 4y
Yes, but he was also a British Citizen. If he selected the British citizenship, he’d be giving up the US citizenship. He can’t have both after age 21.

He was still the democratic candidate
