Yes, the CDC reported the 6% figure are cases where COVID-19 was listed as the only cause of death with no underline co-morbidities. That doesn't mean only 6% of 189,000 people died of Covid. There are still 189,000 confirmed deaths, and counting, in the United States from Covid.
