What happened here?

I’d be outraged if there was video evidence of these killers shooting their unarmed victims, and they were still walking free. They’re not though, are they? Why do you suppose that is?

Hint: they’re not cops. And they’re black. Justice is (rightfully) swift when the killer is black and not a cop, isn’t it?

You’re making BLM’s case for them with this crap.

so... a person is either black or a cop... not neither, not both... and the two are enemies no matter what?
1 up, 4y,

Well that’s a deliberate misrepresentation right there. Either that or you just missed the fact that there wasn’t an either/or statement in my entire post.

Public outrage comes when killers walk free, not when killers kill.

but you were saying that the reason justice was faster was because they were black. it wasn't. it's because they weren't cops who take longer to arrest because of legal and evidential reasons. white people who aren't cops take a shorter time to arrest and black people who are cops take longer, and you implied otherwise. race has nothing to do with it.

Yeah you didn’t understand my point.

How many of them were arrested? How many were in jail? All of them right?

so did the cop who killed floyd.

WHEN was that cop arrested? That's the key point.

And what about Breonna Taylor's killers?

Have they been arrested?
0 ups, 4y,

they didn't arrest him straight away because he's a cop. it annoys me that they'll arrest anyone who isn't a cop STRAIGHT away... but not when it comes to cops getting arrested

Why does that annoy you? A cop’s job involves carrying and using a deadly weapon. It’s like being annoyed that a highway patrol car in hot pursuit doesn’t get pulled over and ticketed for exceeding the speed limit.

You have to ask yourself what was the motivation behind the killing? Cops’ motivation is to prevent death or injury to themselves and others. People assume that the cop who killed Floyd was racially motivated but there’s absolutely no evidence that was the case. It’s just a stereotype assumption made by some people and blustered by agenda-driven media.

It's not a cops job to gun people down in the street.
It's not a cops job to kneel on a man's neck for 9 minutes.

He murdered Floydd on camera because he knew he could get away with it. At any other time, he'd have been right.

“It's not a cops job to gun people down in the street.”
Never said it was. And cops don’t do that.

“It's not a cops job to kneel on a man's neck for 9 minutes.”
It is if that’s what he’s trained to do with people who resist arrest.

“He murdered Floydd on camera because he knew he could get away with it. At any other time, he'd have been right.“
Really? You actually believe that BS? What was his motivation to murder someone he just met, in broad daylight while a crowd stood around watching and filming?

thank you. i saw a little video on youtube of floyds death and was sickened by how he was doing it to him. i also saw his record of people he killed/arrested and they were all black. made me sick of my own race

If someone is killed by another person and the victim was unarmed, there should be justice, black, white, asian, brown,

indeed. they should have it straight away.

that is NOT how this works
if a house is on fire, do you hose down all the houses, or the house on fire?
In this metaphor, the house is the African-American community, the fire is police brutality, and the houses not on fire are the white dominated communities, where the police are more inclined to believe that they are not threats based on their skin color

except in this metaphor, all the houses WOULD be on fire. blacks aren't special.

eyyy loads of networks talked about cannon hinnant lmfao. i remember candace owens talking about the """silence""" of the media, and it looks like she got to you first. candace owens is a f**king liar for saying that.

i don't usually agree with stonetoss, but this is candace owens in a nutshell. she plays a game of identity politics that kamala harris can only dream of

I researched this myself early on as I was going to post about it in our group. You are mistaken to say there was mainstream coverage of it as I could only find it on conservative sites when it first broke.

The death of Cannon Hinnant, a white 5-year-old allegedly killed by a black man, was finally given brief coverage by CNN – after nearly a week of accusations that mainstream media was burying the story to fit a narrative.
Hinnant’s death has been a hot topic on Twitter for almost a week, with thousands drawing attention to his story, but attracting little to no mainstream media coverage.
