Several of the 'republicans' that are in jail have either been exonerated or are in the process of appealing illegal actions used to put them in jail.

Trump is pardoning people that were wrongfully convicted. Like Roger Stone, who's sentence was commutted. Even if he was guilty the maximum sentence should have been a few months.
