And both will lose to Trump because the Democrats are fools who give a middle finger to the people who love their country.

Well, one of them won't lose at all because she's not actually running this year, genius.

As a part of the ticket she will share in the loss genius.

What? Clinton isn't on the ticket at all.

lmao she'll win because she'll write a book about losing. I doubt it'll be about the history of her family's slave trading tho.

Just a reminder that Trump scored a lower likeability rating than every presidential candidate since records began, including Biden and Clinton.

All I can say is hope you enjoy the next four years not liking him as your reelected president.

Things that make you go hmmm

Really tho this was a p good right-wing meme though I disagree 👍

Certainly HRC and Biden both have major flaws

But then there’s that whole Trump question tho

Return the GOP to Mitt Romney or someone like him and then we can talk

You defied the laws of electoral gravity in ‘16 with a carnival barker but the American people won’t be fooled again: specially not after the ghastly nightmare of 2020 and Trump’s total mismanagement thereof

The American public won’t forget this one for awhile

Return to something resembling sanity or face the electoral wilderness

Or as a different popular meme subject might put it: choose the red pill

The choice is yours

Idiots have a bad habit of not learning.
But perhaps you should just borrow Hillarat's leftover fireworks rather that investing in new ones for November in case enthusiasm trumps [see what I did there❓] smug self-assurance yet again,,,

tl;dr

Fhucking creep. Doing research for a book involving himself getting abused like memory didn't suffice.
Heard him just a couple of years ago say he ran his credit card through a pedo ad while doing research just to see if it works, and viola it did. Just glad he ain't working on a getting a PhD.

I always thought he was the height of cheese. Those f**king windmills and smashing guitars. All he was was a decent rhythm guitarist. He came up with a few decent early songs of the times, like Pictures of Lilly and did build up the Marshall stack but f**k me, he played leads like Cobain. Imagine being a rock star and resorting to gay pedophilia as an old bastard.

Thing is I wasn't much into the Who back in the day save for Baba O'Riley.
Getting flack for muh Punk n New Wave tastes wasn't inspiring me to run and listen to them either.

But the Who Are You LP didn't seem so bad in retrospect, but now that I would give their catalog a listen on YT, that vile pussbag ruined it for me.

At least no one's accused him of doing it to them, so hopefully he didn't, thank goodness.
He had said it was at his grandmum's, friends of hers. So sad that he went through that. But that don't wash the taint away.

And he sucked as a guitarist. Sheesh, what a waste of a band.

Oh yes, they pissed on some monolith. I couldn't stand how bloated they became, tho I respect the talent of everyone in that band but Townsend.

Yeah, if he was abused, that's really sad for the guy. But like you said...

He had his style, I guess, but any real guitarist like Hendrix, Knopfler, SRV, Clapton, Allman etc absolutely kills him.

Dang, forgot.
In those days all sorts got elevated like that.

Rust Never Sleep's era Neil Young even killed him, and that's the pinnacle of wall of shoddy noise.

Don't forget Buckingham, that man can do some wicked shit like it was just breathing.
One of those who won't get his due recognition as a player till the day after.
1 up, 4y
They were kinda trendy f**ks, in the bad sense.

Hey now. I was just thinking about it. There's many classical players that are totally amazing. True experts. But there's only so many guitarists that create their own sound, where you know who it is playing just by hearing it. Ol' Neil is an original. Tho it's probably been 12 years since he's put out classic stuff. He held on longer than most. Tho what can you say about a guy that put out a 28 minute album of rockabilly because his label hated it and he had to fulfil a contract lol

Always hated the fro, but he can fingerpick masterfully, like Paul Simon.

Fleetwood Mac is the epitome of a 70's band. Spent a whole day's recording session whacked out on coke, tuning a piano. But to have Peter Green and then Buckingham, that's truly fortunate.
0 ups, 4y
He describes him and Crazy Horse as the world's 3rd best garage band because who can be no.1 and no one wants to be 2nd.
He's beautiful.

Back in the day, I wasn't into Fleetwood, but didn't dislike them either.
Then I saw Buckingham solo on SNL when Trouble came out and was blown away. Dafuq is this dude doing with his guitar, I wondered. Didn't know he was with Mac till sometime later. Bought that LP too. A tad clean poppy for my tastes, but he made it work.
Then I saw a FMac concert on cable while in Puerto Rico in '86, and realized they were far better than I had figured.

No, truth be told, you guys went too far left, too soon. Even Obama in his first 4 years looks centrist compared to now. No one has forgot the raised hands at the democrat debates. I bet even many classical liberals will vote Trump in private, even if they will lie to their friends later.

You went too far.

She was a bit too gushing over Byeden in the DNC speech she gave - obviously for party unity reasons because he should have picked her but he's racist against no POCs - but otherwise she's aces in muh book.

Even despite these politically polarizating times, someone in the same party will usually be complimentary towards another comrade.

Another bonus is she wasn't shrill. Like Tulsi. Unlike the rest.

Swallswell?

I just don't get why there wasn't a single candidate that appealed to the true moderates in the party, as a centrist. They all cucked to the loud squeaky minority. If you are a longshot, why not stand out?
1 up, 4y
I'm bad with names, but probably. The one that had slight Sinatra overlays.

Klobuchar was pretty much. I suppose.

The way I figure it is the party figured they miscalculated on banking on Hillzy at the expense of Bernie in 2016, so this time they gave him and any that might lean that way a better chance because cynical calculations rather than organic developments just works so very very well every single time.
When they realized the party is still 4/5 actual adults and not all AOC Hipsters and the Milleez were too busy playing CoD to get out and actually vote plus non-party members were only gonna really really stay away, they had to reel in the Euro-lite approach and everyone jumped to boost Biden.
Klobuchar wasn't probably gonna win it, but she would have taken in a significant amount of votes, pulling many from Biden which would thus strengthen Sander's chances.

Anyways, that's just my figurin' and who knows.

That the one?

I don't think the DNC wanted Bernie at all. Which is actually surprising to me. I don't know why, unless he opposes some key tenet of their's that I'm missing. But your take makes sense. I do think it's a loud minority that is pushing the party far left. I mentioned the raising of hands at the debates. A couple questions. Now that is them making a public statement, but they basically HAD to.
0 ups, 4y
Yeah, that's him.

The DNC didn't want Bernie because they're stuffy older moderates.
Bernie's a Democrat in name only anyways, joined the party because otherwise he'd have no chance to win the Presidency, just like Ron Paul joined the Republicans.

But a platform of ''At least we're not the GOP'' ain't gonna carry them far.
So they figure let's give this new-fangled stuff the kidz like a try, which should recruit them a new generation of voters as well.
Thing is those kids don't want to stand in line because their legs will cramp up and probably buckle and break from the strain. Far easier to stay home and say ''ok boomer'' on social media in the name of Bernie while mommy toasts them Hot Pockets.

I figured you were referring to the ''Democrat Socialist'' question.

hahaha, this is my older tablet and it's working better than the newer one, except I can't go uppercase for punctuation, etc, hence me using Emoji earlier,,,

A funny thing happens when you move hard-right: The center looks like it’s receding to the Left, from where you stand.

Indeed, Biden ‘20 is to the left of Obama ‘08 or ‘12, or HRC ‘16, but the extent of the Democrats’ leftward movement has been wildly overstated. See: What happened to Sanders.

Sanders lost by a bigger margin in ‘20 and conceded earlier than in ‘16. Yeah, Sanders and the AOC wing still have influence on the platform, but they are not pulling the strings or running the show the way the “politics” stream likes to cosplay. If that faction were really that ascendant, Sanders would have won outright and comfortably. The way Trump cleared the GOP field in ‘16.

Biden is a comfortable mainstream option that doesn’t ruffle any faction’s feathers. Trump burned the entire old-guard GOP to the ground and is building a whole new one fashioned in his image.

For all this, I guess, Trump wants a place on Mt. Rushmore.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/08/trump-kristi-noem-mount-rushmore-mike-pence/amp

But to earn a place in history with your face carved next to the likes of Washington and Lincoln, it is not enough to transform a party. You must lead the whole country and transform a nation.

Whatever you think of Trump, he clearly hasn’t brought along even half the country in whatever projects he is attempting.

Move hard right? That chart shows how it's the left that moved hard.

Try again.

Only 120 million something voted in a country of 330 million something, so try again.
1 up, 4y
To be fair, your take on Bernie is valid, but not for the reasons that you think. Too much, too soon. You might not see that, because you are of the loud minority, imo.
