Now. Let's say that she had used those campaign funds to pay off a guy she had been sleeping with. And she'd actually used her personal lawyer to deliver those funds. Under an assumed name. With an NDA to make sure that the guy didn't talk to anyone in the press during the campaign. AND then lied about it on the required federal forms. AND lie about it again on camera. AND lie about it again in front of the Congressional investigation.

That would be ill intent.

Republicans never gave a damn about ethics anyway. Ivanka trump violated ethics rules by promoting Goya a few weeks ago and Republicans supported it. Now Tlaib accidentally broke the rules out of bad timing and diligently reports it and complied with the ethics committee and conservatives go ballistic.

First, no guy would sleep with her.

Second, I wonder if they ever stopped to consider FECA is only one letter away from FECAL.
