Oh, SPLASH! BWAA! Looks like the coffee I just had helped too.
Don't forget Eugene Levy in it too!
Oh, it was then? Wonder if it was cancelled or ended on account of Hankypoo departing for the big screen.
Look at it this way, we've only in the last decade come to where the more heavyset can be seen as more than a clown foil in the movies. Sure, he was hilarious, but he woulda been typcasted as the funny fat friend or on occasion, dad or weirdo brother.
Belushi tried to go drama, and that movie failed, so he woulda ended up in that rut too.
Hanks, on the other hand, well I got this Epic Movie Voice Narrator for Commercials thingy about him that goes like this:
"And starring Tom HaNks in a role so sincere, it'll make you puke.
It'll make you stop asking, "Where has .Meryl Streep been all these years?"..."
Ok, that goes back a few decades because unfortunately, Ms Avert Eyes and Wipe Tear never quite went away.
But that's the basic Tom Hanks role, the mildly befuddled way sincere guy.
