I love Dr. Pepper, but.... Dr. Pepper is not cola (I know this because when the stuff was promoted in the Netherlands the girls who were serving it couldn't stress that enough, and they represented the product, after all).
😅 Well, that's true. I think, officially it counts as some sort of root beer. Either way, for me it is in the same functional place as Cola - dark brown, unhealthy, but every so often delicious. 🙈
Okay, it has that in common.... When it comes to taste I immediately can taste that Dr. Pepper is not cola... But I do love the stuff, and I do buy it on a regular basis too. 😎
It is very different. And it doesn't mix with other things like Coke does. I don't know how they do it but you can mix Coke with anything and it tastes great. 🤷
I wouldn't say anything. I wouldn't mix it with Bayleys... Now the story that it would form a plastic block in your stomach is a lie, but I know people who tried it and got ill in the process... But with most stuff Coke appears to mix... And how they do that.... Yeah, the recipe of Coca-Cola is still one of the world's best kept secrets.
Oh, I haven't tried Baileys... And not that I had planned to but now I'm definitely not gonna try it. 😅 I was more thinking along the lines of Whisky, Rum, Vodka (if you're into that),... but also most fruit juices. Very fascinating.
Somebody once told me there are only two kinds of people who can drink vodka... Russians and madmen... (In Dutch he said "Russen en gekken", but "gekken" is hard to translate). Hey that is not my opinion... I prefer my cola pure, but I drink very little alcohol... Especially after I've seen what an addiction can do with you... But I did try a few mixtures that were not to bad, however I don't remember them that well..
Somebody I knew once told me he had one put a full bottle of vodka into the tank of a moped. That moped went about 1500m breaking all speed records, and after that it died.... beyond repair.... Makes me wonder about people who DRINK that stuff.... 🤣
