This is a great time to be an American. People are exercising their rights to protest, to assemble, to talk and work toward our future. Just because you don't like the direction, doesn't mean it's an attack on America.

America is strong. It will survive.

America is strong enough to have its values questioned. It's un-American NOT to question!
There is NOTHING wrong with revisiting history, learning from the positive steps made by even the most racist Americans from the past, throwing out their hate, celebrating the positives and re-evaluating their place in history and re-evaluating just how much of this country was built upon the backs of those who were oppressed. Those of all races.

Anarchy isn't the correct way to change things.

I'm sure some were claiming anarchy when men dressed up like Indians to hide their identity and threw British tea into a harbor.

Questioning and protesting is ok but we need to educate the idiotic notions of these people who have found their soapbox and are now making ridiculous demands like abolishing and defunding police. They don’t recognize that the very groups they are fighting for will be harmed the most if their demands are met.

Put it into context. The police are NOT going to be abolished nationwide. It's not a threat or a consideration. There is a sound argument to make in terms of reducing their role, cutting some funding and putting that to use in mental health agency's. It might actually be a solution to all the mass shootings we keep seeing. We're not dealing with mental health the way we need to.

Lack of money isn’t the reason mental health agencies aren’t more effective. If people aren’t willing to seek help from these agencies, it won’t matter how much funding they get. There is a negative stigma associated with mental health. Too many people who suffer from it would rather self medicate with alcohol, pot, and illegal drugs.

Oh yes, haven't you seen the maps of the country where there are no mental health issues?

Must be something in the water in the rest.

It doesn’t matter how many facilities there are or how well they’re funded if the people who need help don’t seek it out. That’s what I meant by lack of demand.

You are delusional. This is about erasing our history and traditions. It is a direct attack on our foundation including the founding fathers. You see it as some noble insurrection except the original protest is forgotten except for virtue signaling nods to it. It has been usurped from equal protection under the law to destroy the law and directed by anti American agitators. those who are protesting are protesting against freedom not for it. They want to tear down the entire system and change the social order. Do away with Freedom of thought, freedom of speech and other freedoms and implace one party, one thought, mob. The American Revolution was about representation and change, but they did not seek to destroy their history nor destroy their society and start over. The threat is real and only a fool doesn’t see it.

Hyperbolic, partisan, extremist ideology talking points.

They want to do away with the freedom of thought? How? Are they stating that we need a space force capable of reading the minds of all citizens on earth?

Pulling down a monument does nothing to change history. Funny, most of these monuments were only erected AFTER blacks got some rights and started to try to exert themselves. Exactly WHO was trying to change history back then?
reply

Statues to our founding fathers were not all erected after blacks got rights. That’s just silly and a great example of how you cherry pick the information that you want. So explain to me the reason behind defacing and pulling those statues down? The reality is you support the destruction, censorship, and abolishing of police to enable mob rule. Tearing down statues and re-interpreting history to a bunch of fools who are ignorant of history is re-writing history. Your extremism is what creates more extremism as a counter.

Nobody wants to abolish the police to enable mob rule. That's just stupid. Biden immediately made it known he had no desire to defund the police. Your talking point has no teeth.

You might as well be saying the Dems will take away the 2nd amendment, another impossible talking point/scare tactic with no teeth. Fear is all you guys have.
reply

You are a fool in denial if you don’t see the attacks on the foundations of America. They are taking away cartoon guns and Democrat candidates have openly expressed desire to forcibly take away firearms.

I heard Biden say something like that but I don’t hear any other Democrats saying that. I don’t hear Democrats standing up for free speech but all in for censorship. I hear Democrats saying that protesting doesn’t encourage spread of the virus against all logic and science. You guys always say oh that a silly no one is doing that and then they do. Remember someone saying they will want to tear down Washington and Lincoln statues. Democrats said oh that’s silly you are fear mongering blah blah bla. Weren’t those statues targeted. Never heard a Democrat speak out against it. To be fair barely heard anyone but citizens speak out against it.

The oh your just fear mongering is an old ploy to convince people not to believe their eyes and ears. Keep your psycho babble propaganda and just look and listen and think, you don’t need anyone to tell You how to think you can do it all for yourself. Try it.

You seem so worried about attacks on the foundations of America but

1. You have no problem with the Attorney General being owned by the President. A complete travesty in the separations of government.
2. The charges dropped on a won case, a case where a man admitted guilt multiple times in a court of law, to traitorous acts/conspiring with Russians.
3. Limitations to free and fair elections, in one state a reduction in polling locations from 1700 to 200
4. The press, reporting accurate stories being called, "the enemy of the people"
5. A President with no reaction to Putin paying the Taliban $100,000 per death of American soldiers, denying the accuracy of our own government investigation as a "Hoax"
6. A President, posting a video on his personal twitter feed of a man yelling, "white power" taking it down and not denouncing the content
7. The Senate, absolving their powers and separation of powers from the President
8. A President who has been recorded with more than 20,000 lies and untruths since taking office less than 4yrs ago
9. A President asking the Russians to, "find the missing emails of his political opponent" and them hacking not hours after his request
10. The minimization of an investigation finding 36 indictments against people and companies to tamper in our free and fair elections, with more than 7 people found guilty already and some already serving jail time
11. A President taking no responsibility to stop a virus that is ravaging our nation while other countries have gotten on top of it and are moving on, having indoor rallies stoking fear and hate with no social distancing

Again, your talking points have no teeth. You are a traitor to America and couldn't care less about the, "foundations of America". You are standing by watching the country burn.

Let me guess, Clinton supporter outraged that Trump won and sure that it couldn’t be possible without a massive fraud. That is the essence of your derangement I could go by and list counterpoints to each of your hoaxes and half truths. Including comparable incidents of AG misconduct under the Obama administration. Where was your outrage? Non - existent? Right because your indignation only runs one way. Your failure to recognize the attacks on the American foundations is further proof of your complicity in the all means justify the ends even if it means sacrificing your values. I call you a traitor To your country and your people. Standing by watching it burn? Who set it on fire hypocrite.

Starting over is exactly what our founding fathers did. They did away with British rule and the role England played in their lives and created their own government. Did we get the constitution from someone else or did we make that shit up ourselves?

No one is trying to rewrite the constitution or do away with our entire government. But there are some institutions that need an overhaul, especially the ones that were created specifically to protect and reinforce white supremacy. The threat is real to white supremacy as it should be. You're trying to muddy the message by claiming this is about destroying all of our freedoms and that's not the case at all.

The founders didn’t want to tear the entire system down and start over unlike the French Revolution. Also You can’t defeat racism with racism. You want to redirect racism and say it’s not because the group you dislike deserves it. You can only defeat it with equality. MLK knew that and is why he was a truly exceptional leader. All men equal
under the law. Police brutality certainly needs to be addressed as it affects all races. The message You are claiming is being interpreted wrong is plain to see for anyone who has eyes or ears. Going from tearing down the statues of the founders to denying the constitution because it was written by racists is a logical next step. The right to free speech is the first that goes and is under attack right now. Censorship is rampant, hide the truth. Your message is based on a lot of dangerous exaggerations,
lies, and denial of the evidence in front of you.

This Prez has had close to 4yrs to bring us his, "law and order". This was supposed to end, "here and end now" when he became Prez.

Now he needs 4 more years to fix things that are far more dire and worse than 4yrs ago? What has he been doing for 4yrs, other than golfing?

There is no CHOP zone. It's over.

We're fighting an epidemic and what is your Prez doing?
He's fighting to defend the monuments to traitors of our nation and the flag of traitors being flown at NASCAR events.

You should be so proud.

The Democratic Party and liberals are not the liberals of old who fought for free speech and equality and still loved America. Your party and your movement have been usurped and are fighting against America, not for it. If you are too blind to see that then you will have to suffer the consequences or become a true believer in the glorious revolution once your friends take power. The parallels of communist take overs is clear and has been repeated throughout its history. You and people like you enable them and when you decide to object they will and have turned on you. See liberal democratic congressmen beaten by “peaceful protesters” for filming them.
1 up, 1m
Blah, blah, blah. Words with no examples. Just hysteria.
0 ups, 1m
Lists of examples look at the notable liberals who have left the Democratic Party. I could give hundreds of examples it wouldn’t matter. You are the people who have had a 4 year hissy fit because your girl didn’t win. The point is for people to speak out against the liberal commie propaganda you pass off. It’s time to shout back when they try and shout you down, counter their violence with equal violence. That is where it’s headed because there no longer is the basic common ground of love of country.
