Harassment anywhere is every ImgFlipper’s concern, particularly stream Mods who are tasked with enforcing TOS and indeed agree to do so as a condition of creating streams.

And it was an all out attack on just the op because nary an "offending" comment by any other memer was touched. Stop enlisting kids to be your cronies. You haven't the faintest idea how imgflip works and what TOS means. I agree nudity shouldn’t be on this site, but I hear more complaints about cyberbullying and toxic hate. And personally I think it’s more damaging.

Toxic hate that kids whine about like pointing out a spelling error, getting into a debate about politics, saying your meme sucks or *gasp* encountering upvote beggars or reposters ? Funny in all the years imgflip has existed toxic hate never was a problem until you showed up and rallied an army of immature children. And no that's not ageism before you go labeling me and saying i'm harassing you and the kids.

Even just a couple of years ago if you acted like how I've seen some of these kids acting, you would've become the joke of the community. You want to talk about cyberbullying, you should've seen some of the stuff we would say to each other back in 2016. Only kids that did well on here back then were MemesterMemesterson and a couple others, because they could take the heat and dish it back too. I don't think many of this current batch of Imgflippers could've lasted a month back then, which just goes to show how much this site has changed, for better or for worse.

The separation of the main stream into Fun and Politics is probably why, as the head butters congregated in Politics while Fun became less intimidating ironically to kids wanting to fling their poo and now could do so without fear of reprisal from those who will take said poo and send it back to from whence it came.

I didn’t found the Peace_On_ImgFlip stream nor did I found any of the dozens of others like it dedicated to positivity and/or combating cyberbullying or “toxic hate” (terms which I view as essentially synonymous).

All those streams would exist without me.

Many of you keep trying to make this issue about “immature children,” but age has nothing to do with it. You either have a positive outlook on life or you don’t. You either treat others with respect or you don’t.

But if you insist on conceiving of this as a generational war: Alright. Then as a Millennial I will choose to side with the creative, talented, and inspiring Gen Z ImgFlippers, because whatever their age, they demonstrate on a daily basis through their efforts and contributions to the site that they are more emotionally mature than many self-proclaimed adults.

I agree people of any age should learn how to brush aside one insult (not to excuse the person leveling that insult)

But it’s more about a continuous pattern over multiple memes and being stalked and that kind of thing.

And the bullies feed off the reactions they trigger. The best way to stop it is to completely ignore them. Downvote their comments and move on. But complaining just gives them the attention they are craving.

Bullying is too subjective. Anyone can take offense of anything and Claim they are being bullied.
