I agree. Burning, looting, and shooting does not help. We don't need a war, We need peace.

we need war
the world is impossible to reform we must burn it then raise a new one that is the only way

MLK who thought longer and harder about these things than all of us combined had something interesting to say.

Cept in this case almost all of the rioters are from out of town and being paid by BLM who is paid by Soros.
Notice no riots in Texas. They tried to unload a bunch of protesters off a bus, and got the crap beat out of them by the peaceful protesters, and got sent packing.

If this means equality for all, it will all have been worth it. Sure, it's not quite ideal, but you need to lose something to get something greater.
6 ups, 5y,

This does the complete opposite. It enamors those who already hate blacks with even more reason to stereotype type them.
0 ups, 5y,

Not all BLM protesters are black. And are you saying that it is the black people's fault for being stereotyped?
1 up, 5y,
1 reply
No their fault. That's silly. At the same time, the world is not a simple place. Looting and violent rioting provide ammunition to those who already hate black people. They use the looting as a justification for their hatred. So while black people aren't at fault, they can control some of the stereotyping.
2 ups, 5y,

Meh, I suppose. But I do think that some people's actions shouldn't be enough to affect stereotypes on a whole race.
1 up, 5y
YES!!! Agreed!

The problem is these riots are inciting negative feelings for blacks.
0 ups, 5y
You’re right, they “shouldn’t” but they still do.
0 ups, 5y
True. Though one could say the same thing about Chauvin's actions.
0 ups, 5y
They are protesting about the treatment of blacks (regardless of their own race). No, it’s not a black person’s fault for being stereotyped as looters and arsonists any more than it’s a white person’s fault for being stereotyped as a racist or white trash.
But it is both their fault for creating a situation where thugs roam the streets committing crimes because the local police are too preoccupied with their continued protests day and night. Also when the don’t go home after curfew. These, so called, peaceful protesters who disobey commands by the police are contributing to the destruction of our cities.

This does not bring equality this makes people hate you more
0 ups, 5y,

They obviously don't care about people hating them if they're ready to do this. And it might bring about equality, as the government will either have to do something about their police force or the U.S.A. will become more like North Korea, or China. A place with strict laws, where you cannot protest.
2 ups, 5y,

It will not bring about equality. Equality comes through cooperation, not coercion. What it will trigger is a crackdown, like what Trump is already threatening.
0 ups, 5y,

So... what you're saying is that I was correct. The government will become stricter.
1 up, 5y
Protests are allowed look at Martin Luther King Jr.

These riots are not protests. They are an excuse for free stuff.
0 ups, 5y
The only way it will bring about “equality” is if the police are so concerned that their actions might get them fired or arrested that they just sit back and let chaos run rampant like it is now.

Take a good look at what’s happening in major cities across the nation. Antagonists are using protests as a cover for their agenda to destroy American society. Once the police are not allowed to use force to stop them, this lawlessness will become the norm . . . but we’ll all be treated equal by the police. I don’t think that’s what these protesters have in mind but it’s what their actions are leading to.

How will burning and looting innocent people and businesses create equality? Please post YOUR home address so that they can do to YOUR home what you are advocating done to others.

Where I live, we don't have riots, so something would be done about it if MY house was burned. And also, I SAID, "IF THIS MEANS EQUALITY FOR ALL..." People are taking this the wrong way. I'm saying that if it does mean that there will be equality for all, this would be worth it. If not, then no doubt this was not, in fact, worth it.
2 ups, 5y,

Yeah, where I live ( so far ) they're have been no riots. I don't understand. I get that the cops shouldn't be going around and killing people, and they have killed more than just the black race ( not racist by the way ), and I think we all know what Martian Luther King Jr. said a while ago, about having a dream that his kids would not be judged by the color of their skin but there character, that dream pretty much came true, but why does it all of a sudden matter now? Looting doesn't help anything, Neither does burning buildings, and shooting. ( again im not racist just stating my opinion ) I don't care if you agree or disagree with me. Just stating my opinion as a person should.

I, personally, think that it is wrong to go into protests with intentions of getting free stuff, but I think that many people think that the people who do that are the protesters, when really it's a third party coming in just to steal things.
0 ups, 5y
Yeah...
Gosh people make me sick..
Just to steal stuff too...

Equality for all? You mean we'd all be homeless?
0 ups, 5y
No, I mean either the government would make changes to please the rioters or the government would become stricter to bite back at the rioters.
0 ups, 5y
So you will give up your job, your business (which I suspect you lack), your home, your vehicle? For the greater good?

That’s like saying, “Mr Floyd didn’t listen to everyone who taught him that theft (passing counterfeit money) is wrong, so . . .”

No, it's not.

It's saying that Kaepernick knelts quietly during a song to protest the treatment of African Americans by the police.

He was called a thug.

You didn't listen to him.

Now people are really pissed because black men are still being murdered by the police. Still.

Funny how so many people are protesting against their own police force in cities that have never had a problem with racist police brutality.

Wait. What!? Any time a person who gets arrested isn't white - that's police brutality? Your thinking is quite flawed. Most people who are arrested, are arrested because they have committed a crime. They are criminals, and their skin color means nothing. If you only see things through a "color filter", then you're missing the big picture.
