Andrew Cuomo sucks

I watched his news conference yesterday (Wednesday) and if Trump said half of the tripe coming out of Cuomo's mouth the press would eat him alive. He contradicts himself from one minute to the next.

I always respect your work here on the flip, sharps, including this meme. One thing to consider though, is that many, maybe even a majority of the residents in nursing homes have DNRs. I doubt, but don't know for sure, if that would change due to the rona.

The DNR applies to ALL paramedics in the city, towards ALL residents, hiding behind saying 'we're to valuable to risk getting virus' so we can't help anyone. Paramedics are pissed, and the order is illegal.

But a DNR is not the type of legal document that can be interpreted by a medical professional to be applicable in only certain situations. If someone's heart stops beating due to the virus, the DNR should be enforced, just as if they had a stroke or a heart attack, right?

Believe me, I'm not generally going to side with that magna-douche Cuomo over you when it comes to almost anything, but in this case, based on the info in your meme, I think there's pretty solid legal ground for him to tell paramedics or any other medical professional to cease providing potentially life sustaining care, if the person has a DNR and their heart has stopped.

I agree, it's not legal- but at the time of the meme, it was policy.

It's human nature to help those in need. DNR's are counter-intuitive to our nature, imo. Probably more so for people who provide emergency health care. It's a messed up situation no matter how we look at. The only constant is magna-douche Cuomo.

There is a false notion that the left is basing their decisions (well, their constant drumbeat of criticism of all things Trump) solely on science. Then they simultaneously verbally assault anyone that they deem as even thinking about agreeing with anything Trump says. It's just pathetic. They act as if Trump ignores the science, but even Dr. Fauci has said that every suggestion he and Dr. Birks have made to Trump, has been adopted.

Wake up, Trump is not operating in a vacuum of science. And yes, science and scientists can be wrong. Unlike politicians, scientists are usually willing to admit when they're wrong, because doing so advances our collective knowledge.

Dr.Fauci is going out of his way not to offend the President. The President is way out of his depth. If he had the smarts to listen to the experts and not imagine that he is some genius, he would be way better off. Today he was going on about light and heat in the body injecting people with disinfectants, that's seriously 25th amendment crazy.

That's about the most pathetic, and disrespectful argument against Dr. Fauci that I've heard of. And yes, I've heard it from others.

Fauci himself has said that every time he and Dr. Birks have given the president advice based on science and medicine, the president has taken it.

Regarding the disinfectant hoax, please, tell me you did NOT see the press conference, and are only believing that crap because the lamestream media is telling you what to believe. Please, say that's why you believe that crap!

I'll save you the time, since I doubt you'd bother to read anything that might cause you to question your overlords in the DNC-controlled media. Here's what the #FakeNews is using as a basis to say he said that:

The Press Conferences are aired on TV. You can plainly hear Trump say what he said. I'm glad they scrubbed his ridiculous off the cuff comments from the official transcript, but that does make the official transcript inaccurate.

I don't know how anyone could deny what they can hear and see with their own eyes. Calling it fake news means you don't believe the evidence of your own ears and eyes.

I have nothing but respect for Dr. Fauci, he is walking a fine line of trying to get accurate information to the public and not offending a President who is way out of his depth.

The same Dr. Fauci who said the virus was no proble and nothing to worry about, or the Dr. Fauci who said masks only work for medical workers- not regular citizens. If Trump is over his head it's because he isn't a scientist and has to rely on scientists- and they have no idea what to do.
