The only failure to understand context was with the president who apparently isn't smart enough to understand why a disinfectant able to kill viruses on hard surfaces wouldn't work when injected into a person's body.

You didn't read the transcript. "Something like that" doesn't mean INJECT BLEACH in a normal universe with people that have an IQ greater than their shoe size.

I've posted a screenshot of a thesaurus so you can understand that when someone says "something like that" he means "something similar" which is easily understandable. Ever heard of a pharmaceutical? They're called drugs in common vernacular and they do all sorts of things. Some clean your lungs of congestion (albuterol), some clean your body of cancer (chemotherapy), some hinder your inflammatory response ... I think you may need some of those now.
