The question here is who's counting, especially with the dishonest track record of China's government, who tried to outright deny the whole thing until the whistleblowers told everyone.
Plus you would also have to factor in the fact that the US has a much larger population than all of these European and Asian countries (excluding China) so compared by population, the US is actually doing better.
One must also consider the fact that some countries simply do not have the finances to put tests out to its people. Take Brazil, for example. Brazil's number of confirmed cases is 5,717. However, Brazil is a country where a lot of areas are affected greatly by poverty, and the people there are often living in close contact with one another. The case count in Brazil is probably significantly higher, but the nation does not have the ability to distribute tests like Italy or Spain due to lack of finances, thus allowing its case count to be considerably lower than one might expect. (You might not want to take this advice, as this was written by a kid in middle school).
Way to go USA, you are number 1
Now president Trump can go play golf at Mar-a-lago and do twitter posts from his bathroom.
